Story of a Buy

Julie had received a referral for a relocating East Coast couple, both doctors. Being on call in another state made in-person visits limited to just a few long weekend visits. With limited inventory that fit their criteria, she worked to find them a fully-furnished short-term rental, allowing them to begin their new jobs here as Julie continued the search. With her trademark diligence and networking abilities, she found an off-market property that met their criteria, and assisted them further by handling inspections, getting quotes and more, to ensure they got into their new home quickly. The transaction closed without a hitch, further proving Julie’s value in what could have been a very stressful situation.

After living in their Preston Hollow home on a unique creek lot for 40+ years, Julie’s client reached out to her about selling. It remained to be seen whether a future buyer would remodel or tear down. Julie preemptively ordered a new survey and pictures, which thankfully uncovered a discrepancy with the lot’s legal boundaries that would have proven ruinous for any future deals. Instead, Julie’s foresight and the early involvement of attorneys resulted in the listing ultimately receiving multiple offers over asking price, and the sale went without further ado. Julie also happened to bring the buyer, proving it’s both what you know and who you know!
