EUGENE PUGH

As a lifelong resident of Starke County, I am proud and excited to announce my candidacy for Starke County Council District 4 which includes Railroad and Wayne Townships.

This community is my home, it is where I have raised my family, built lasting friendships, worked side by side with incredible people. I have seen what can be accomplished when we come together as a community. There is important work to be done. Over the years I have watched as Starke County has faced both challenges and opportunities, from maintaining strong local services to supporting small businesses and protecting the local rural character. I believe it is time for conservative leadership that listens, acts with common sense, and puts people before politics.

District 4, which includes Railroad and Wayne Townships, represents the heart of what makes Starke County unique: hard work, neighborly spirit, and pride in our community. I want to make sure your voices are heard in every decision that shapes our future.

In the months ahead, I look forward to talking with folks across District 4 to listen, learn, and work together on solutions.

I would appreciate your vote on May 5, 2026, and If I am elected, my priorities will focus on what matters most to our residents including:

*Fostering transparency and accountability- taxpayers deserve an open government that communicates clearly and operates with fairness and integrity. I will work to keep taxes fair and responsible, prioritize essential services, and make sure every dollar is spent wisely and transparently.

*Strengthening essential services and infrastructure- keeping our roads safe, improving facilities, and ensuring our public resources serve everyone effectively.

*Encouraging smart, responsible growth- supporting development that benefits our community without sacrificing the rural charm and quality of life that makes this area special.

I also want to announce my candidacy for Republican State Convention Delegate.

I appreciate your support as I take this step. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected, and more vibrant Starke County.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
