EDWARD R. MAU

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Edward R Mau 84, passed away in Pulaski Memorial Hospital on Friday November 21, 2025 after battling Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) disease. He was born on June 11, 1941 in La Porte, Indiana to the late Raymond and Anna (Voss) Mau. He married Barbara J Leake on June 20,1998 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lafayette Indiana.

Edward graduated from North Judson High School with the class of 1960 and had played in the band. He went then to Purdue University and got a degree in Agricultural. He was in the marching band there. Edward worked hard throughout his life farming; what he loved to do. He liked ballroom dancing and enjoyed many years of dancing after he met and married his wife. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham Indiana; where he was an elder for many years until he got PSP.

He is survived by his wife

Barbara J Mau and 8 step children: Angela Cooley (Corey) of Stockwell, In., Kimberly Koning (Michael) of Romney, In., Charles Leake (Jacqueline) of Lafayette, In., Milissa Hockstra (Jeff) of Lafayette, In., Janine Allen (Scott) of Lafayette, In., Holly Banes (William) of Yuma, Az., Danielle Shackelford (Jesse) of Lafayette, In., William Leake (Brianna) of Austin, Tx., and grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services were held Friday, November 28 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denham with Rev. Mark Fakih officiating. Burial was in the St. Paul cemetery in Denham. Memorial contributions may be made in Edward’s name to St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Arrangements were made by O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc. in North Judson.

KATHLEEN RENEE

BARNETT BAILEY

HAMLET, IN - Kathleen Renee Barnett Bailey, 54, died Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1971, in Valparaiso, Indiana to the late Charles Barnett and Carla Barnett Collins and stepdaughter of Michael Collins. On August 26, 2023 she married Shawn Bailey. Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose warmth, humor, and resilience made her unforgettable.

A proud graduate of Knox Community High School, Kathleen lived her life rooted in family, loyalty, and simple joys. She is survived by three sons: Matthew (Kristen) Barnett Christopher (Laura) Adams and Paul Adams, three stepchildren: Jasmine (Tyler) Hatfield, Brandon Bailey and Olivia Bailey, twelve grandchildren, four sisters: Cynthia Lovins, Pamela (Corey) Bailey, Tracey (Alexander Barnett Osowiecki and Stephanie (Tirell) Graham.

Services were held Saturday, November 22 at the O’Donnell Funeral Home.

Arrangements were made by O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc. in North Judson.

CHRISTINE KIMBERLY LOVINS

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Christine “Tina” Kimberly Lovins, 65 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 in North Judson, Indiana after a 6 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was born October 23,

1960 in Logansport, Indiana, to the late Ellis Elmer Manns and the late Ramona Gay(Parker) Manns. On June 6, 1979 in Toto, Indiana, she married Jim Lovins Jr. Tina’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, golf cart rides, listening to country music, going to concerts, casino trips and Sunday family gatherings. She knew no stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, her children: Brian (Jennifer) Lovins, Teresa (Devin) McDaniel, Amber (Brett) McDaniel, all of North Judson, 10 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Tyra (Jerry) Evers of Knox, Indiana and Rachel Cauley of Delong, Indiana. She was preceded in death by brothers: Randy, Glen and Kevin “Katt” Manns and sister Sandy “Trudy” Brewer.

Services were held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Wednesday, December 3, 2025 with Rev Mike Noble officiating. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.

Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox.

ALBERT M. SEHSTEDT

WINAMAC, IN - Albert M. “Butch” Sehstedt, 73, died Saturday, November 29, 2025, at The University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He was born on September 20, 1952 at Carneal’s Hospital in Winamac to the late Albert F. and Martha E. (Schieman) Sehstedt. He married Linda D. Ruff on August 28, 1976.

Butch was a 1970 graduate of Winamac High School. Hard work was something that Butch loved. Butch did tiling work for Barnhouse. He also worked in construction as a lather. He found his lifelong career at Pulaski County Highway Department in 1977. He took pride leading the paving crew as Head Operator. He retired from the highway department after 37 years in 2014. After retirement, Butch continued staying busy gardening, making hay, driving truck, and doing field work for near and dear friends and family. He loved antique tractor pulling and enjoyed helping his nieces with projects. He served on the Pulaski County Extension Board and the Pulaski County Dairy Committee. He found a love for bucket calves and always wanted a barn full of them.

Butch was a determined man and never let his physical shortcomings stop him from anything. He was a master of modifying tools with extension handles, adding steps to get into tractors, and using pulleys and ropes to achieve everything he needed to get done.

Butch’s joy was his grandchildren, spending time together as a family as much as possible. He enjoyed watching Gun Smoke, Gold Rush, and Bonanza. He loved a good cup of coffee and a bologna sandwich, while reading a Green Magazine! Butch was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Linda his children: Michael (Alison) Sehstedt of Rochester, Julie (Johnny) Tijerina of Winamac, and Steven (Heather) Sehstedt of Winamac; seven grandchildren and one sister, Evelyn Dollahan of North Judson. He was preceded in death by an infant sister Alice Sehstedt, his sisters, Martha (Vernal) Freeman, Ruth (Curly) Holbrook, and Nancy (Jerry D.) Freeman..

Services were held Monday, December 8, at Frain Mortuary with Pastor Martin Furrow officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion-Franklin Twp. Cemetery in Winamac. Memorials may be made to Northern Indiana Power From The Past.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

SUSAN MARGERET WODRICH

SAN PIERRE, IN - Susan Margeret Wodrich, 73, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was born June 16, 1952 in Valparaiso, to the late Raymond and Gloria (Wasilewski) Wodrich.

Susan had an immense love for animals and was a 10 year member of the Starke County 4-H and loved showing cattle. She also had several world champion horses. In 1973, she raised the Indiana State Fair champion Hampshire Barrow. She had worked for MPI.

She is survived by two sisters: Mary and Kathleen Wodrich, both of San Pierre.

Services were held Saturday, December 6 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial was in the San Pierre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

ALICE FAYE MILLER

KNOX, IN - Alice Fay Miller, 82, died Monday, December 1, 2025 in Knox, Indiana. She was born February 1, 1943 in Denham, Indiana, to the late Earl Okeley and Irene(Thews) Okeley. On June 6, 1959 in Knox, she married Everett Miller, he preceded her on October 6, 2021. Alice was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Tim (Tona) Miller and Jeff Miller, both of Knox, Everett Miller of Valparaiso, Indiana, Laura (Mark) Leblang of Noblesville, Indiana, Rebecca (Eric) Poe of Knox, Daughter and Angela (George) Pranger of Culver, Indiana, 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two sisters: Lila Rudd of Valparaiso and Joyce Bailey of Knox. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Miller and siblings: Charlie, Donald, Bill, Kenneth, Robert and Leslie

Okeley, Doris Wroblewski, Elsie Papp, Louise Lukac. Services were held at the Church of the Nazarene on Friday, December 5 with Rev. Rick Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox. Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox.

AARON THOMAS KAMINSKI

FORT WAYNE, IN - FORMERLY OF NORTH JUDSON, IN - Aaron Thomas Kaminski, age 50, passed away on Monday December 01, 2025 at his residence in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on March 14, 1975 in Winamac, Indiana to Mary (Pletka) Kaminski and Henry Kaminski.

Aaron graduated from North Judson – San Pierre High School in the class of 1993. He especially enjoyed participating in the Academic Super Bowls in high school. He studied at Taylor University in Upton, Indiana and received as A.S. Computer Science Degree from Ancilla college in Plymouth, Indiana. He worked during the past nine years as an Accessibility Engineer for Interactive based in Sudbury, Massachusetts. He is survived by his mother Mary Kaminski Bowman, step-father Donald Bowman, both of San Pierre IN, brother Mark (Belinda) Kaminski of North Judson, sister Linda (Michael) Felix of Noblesville Indiana, step-sister Colleen Bowman Asher (Jerey Schaeffer) of North Judson. He was preceded in death by his father Henry W. Kaminski, his grandparents Stella and Henry Kaminski and Martha and Frank Pletka.

Private graveside services will take place at a later date in St. Peter Cemetery in Winamac.

JACK ERNEST WOODRUFF, JR.

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Jack Ernest Woodruff, Jr. 62, died peacefully in his sleep on December 5th, 2025. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Woodruff, Sr., and Georgia Gillis (Cooksey); his sisters: Janice Woodruff, Carol Fausett, and Kathy Klinkhammer; and his great grandson, Castle Jackson Holifield. Surviving are his sister, Debra Walter, and his daughter, Cortny Barnes, grandchildren, and those who may not have been “family” in name but loved him greatly and will also be missed by him.

BILL JONES

KNOX, IN - Bill Jones, 65, was the son of Beverly & Lewis Clifford Jones of San Pierre Indiana. Bill graduated from North Judson San Pierre High school, in 1978. He then joined the Army. Bill enjoyed being a scavenger for profit. He loved the challenge of turning someone else’s trash to treasure. He collected most of his life. Bill enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as drinking coffee with friends, gathering around bonfires with family, riding 4 wheelers with his grandchildren, and sharing stories of times past. His daughter and grandchildren were his joy, evident in every moment they shared together. Bill’s memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his Mother: Beverly Jones, Brothers: Jim Jones (Terry), John Jones (Kim), Sisters: Sherry Shirley (Charlie), Mary Wildman (Dan). Bill was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Clifford Jones and one sister, Angela McMeans. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, December 6 at the Saint Lukes Community Church, San Pierre, Indiana.

PATRICIA ALICE COCHRANWILLIAMS

NORTH JUDSON, IN - Patricia Alice (Thomas) Cochran-Williams, 74, passed away on Friday December 5, 2025, in her home in North Judson, Indiana. She was born on May 28, 1951, in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Frederick and Thelma Thomas. Patricia was a retired nurse of 35 years, who dedicated her life to her Faith, her Family, and the service of others. She loved gardening, raising chickens, and watching the beautiful sunsets from her front porch. Her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and most recently sharing her home with Sofia, Catherine, and Elijah. Patricia will be remembered for her strength, compassion for others, generosity for those she loved, and the courage to face life’s most difficult challenges with grace. She is survived by her son Danny (Kelly) Cochran of North Judson, daughter Amanda (Keith) Clapp of Monticello, Indiana, nine grandchil-

dren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death her husband Jack Williams, and daughter Emeilia H. Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 12, 2025, from 10am2pm at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana. Services will be held at 2pm at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana with Pastor James A. Young officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.

MABLE RUTH WIREMAN

KNOX, IN -Mable Ruth Wireman, 88, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 in Culver, Indiana. She was born September 10, 1937 in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late Willie and Beatrice (Sawyer) Kilpatrick. On November 27, 1958, in Springfield, Tennessee, she married James Wireman, he preceded her in December of 1997. Mable was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and loved to attend church. She enjoyed gardening and canning and crocheting. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She worked retail for New Toto Stores for 37 years . She is survived by three daughter, Anita (Chris) Siebenhaar of Knox, Nora (Michael) Minnes of Warsaw, Indiana, and Teresa Mangun of Bremen, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wireman and, son Phillip Wireman and sister Reba Smiddy. Services were held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 9, 2025 with Rev. Ben Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.

GEORGE ALAN BOGAN

MONTEREY, IN - George Alan Bogan, 70, died Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Hickory Creek in Winamac, Indiana. He was born on May 11, 1955 to the late George and Birtie (Reeder) Bogan in Cleveland, Ohio.

George was a proud veteran having served in the US Army, US Army Reserves, and the Indiana National Guard. He was a retired steel worker. He loved his little town and never missed a Monterey Days Festival or a car show. George was a kind-hearted man who loved people but loved

animals even more because, “animals are smarter than people!” He had a big heart and an even bigger mouth. He was a true jokester and never failed to make us laugh. He lived the high life and did it his way. He was an old soul who believed in God, family, and his country. George was a Bears fan all the way! Most of all, he loved his family and was very proud of his three girls.

He is survived by three daughters: Tanya Bogan, Ashlie Gray and Kristi Bogan, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one brother, Bill Bogan and one sister Margie Barcus and step father, Kenneth Nowak. He was preceded in death by his step father, Albert Barcus. Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM EST Wednesday, December 10, at the Tippecanoe Twp. –Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Monterey. Memorials may be made to the Tippecanoe Twp. –Riverside Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

ARTHUR K. MAU

WINAMAC, IN - Arthur K. “Sonny” Mau, passed away peacefully at the family farm in Winamac Indiana on November 28, 2025. He was born December 23, 1944 to Arthur K Mau Sr. and Marjorie Mau. Art lived a full life characterized by his quick wit, unwavering kindness and a keen ability to find the best in people. He never met a stranger. As a lifelong resident of Winamac in Pulaski County Indiana he grew up on the farm, continued the tradition as a third generation farmer and also completed a decorated 35 year career as a correctional officer for the Indiana Department of Corrections. One of his passions was being the “Art” of the deal and he excelled at collecting a multitude of things including old tractors, glass milk bottles and frankly any good deal. He was a graduate of Winamac High School, a member of Future Farmers of America and 4H, car clubs, an avid supporter of local sports, a lover of animals and farming, and a lifelong member of the Denham Lutheran Church. Art is survived by his son John Mau and Karolyn of Texas and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 30+ years Loretta Mau (Lawson) and one brother Jerry Sullivan.

A celebration of life is planned for late Spring once the weather clears. If you would like to donate in Art’s memory please pick a local shelter to give to.
