The Fulton County Chamber of Commerce is reminding entrepreneurs and small business owners that there is still time to register for Bagels & Business, a seminar series created for those looking to enhance their business.

Interested individuals are invited to enjoy a light breakfast, networking with like-minded individuals and an education segment each session. Sessions will be at 7:30 a.m. on Fridays, July 7 — Aug. 4, at a locale to be determined. Topics include:

The Fulton County Animal Center offers a foster-to-adopt program letting potential new pet parents “try” a new pet for two weeks to see if the person

Food Pantry of Akron, located behind the Viking Food grocery store, is open 2-4 p.m. every Thursday. Parking is available in front of Akron United Methodist church or in the church’s parking lot. The food pantry is free when you qualify and live in Henry or Newcastle townships, with a once-a-month visit limit. Diapers, toothpaste, eggs, meat, cereal, spices and toilet paper are among some of the items available at the walkthru pantry.
