Logo lock-up use

Being a shareholder of the Manawatū regional identity also means being a guardian of it. Looking after and retaining its

integrity so it lasts a long time. Maintaining impact by correct and consistent use. A few guidelines will help us do that.

Our first lockup option is the MDC and Manawatū logos side-byside. This is the best version to use when we don’t have an edge to anchor ourselves to. Which will make more sense in a second.

Our second option is the same as the first, except we extend our divider line to the edge of the page or frame so we’re anchored.

It’s a design flex, but it works.

Our third option lets the MDC logo behaive as it normally would, while the Manawatū logotype is used in addition on the edge of the frame or page. By using the Manawatū logotype on the edge, and where possible vertically, it retains the position of supporter and endorser of a message rather than the owner.

Letterhead

Our Manawatū logotype can be included promotional letterheads as a celebration of being part of the region and the work we’re doing to promote it. It’s not to be used on operational letters such as invoices or staff matters.

Note: this is an example mockup, we can work with you to add the logotype onto an existing MDC letterhead template.
