Name: Jofil Riyadh Susana Borja Birthday: January 31 Expected Grad Year: May 2012 Major/Minor/Concentration: Rhetoric and Political Science Occupation: Student and works for UC Berkeley Residential Services Post college plans: I want to be part of the Capital Fellows Program through the California State Senate and CSUS. It provides its fellows a paid, full-time legislative staff position in the State Capitol for a year, and they will also be considered as full time Graduate students in CSUS. After that, hopefully that would serve as my year break before I enter law school. Law School education with the emphasis on Public Service and Governmental Affairs is what I truly dream of having after Cal. Pre-Professional Tip: Polish your interviewing skills and public speaking! Nothing speaks louder than your own words... eloquently driven, well-composed, and full of confidence! Love it!

Favorite place to kick it with friends (in Berkeley): My apartment or the gym. I love working out and playing sports with Berkeley folks, but kicking it at my place with any video game console is really cool too.

As Co-Director of Internal Affairs, what is your goal/s for P4 in this 2010-2011 school year? I really want to see P4’s Associate program to grow closer this year. Its really important to see our associates as well as all of our partners very well invested in not only their components, but to one another as friends, especially as it is essential to the growth of our organization!

Alumni Letter

Dear Friends and Family of P4,

It is a real honor for me to be writing this letter on behalf of the 2010-2011 P4 partners. The partners are enthusiastic about this year's programming, especially because it is P4's tenth year of existence! We hope we can continue the legacy of P4 that you have all contributed to by dedicating our time to the development and advancement of our members into the professional world. With that said, one of our goals is to foster a stronger relationship with our alumni. But we can't execute this without you! We ask that you: 1) Update your contact information regularly. We recognize that this may be a busy time in your life and that it is possible that you may move several times during the next few years. However, we can't keep you in the loop if we don't know where you are. You'll miss out on our monthly newsletters, invitations to P4 events, and the Tenth-Year Anniversary celebration. So please be sure to let us know whenever your contact information changes (i.e. your mailing address, e-mail address, or telephone number). Updating your contact information is easy --simply send your updated information to p4marketing.pr@gmail.com.

2) Stay involved. Feel free to attend any of our events including associate meetings, general meetings, shadow days, coffee chats, banquets, etc. These events are regularly advertised on our website (calP4.wordpress.com).

3) Let us know what you are up to. P4 alumni across the country are doing amazing things. Whatever life path you choose, we'd love to hear about it. :) 4) Help us contact other alumni. Our alumni database is always a work in progress and we would hate to miss an alumnus. If you know any P4 alumni contact information, feel free to pass the information along.

As a P4 alum, you are now a part of a very special community. Please know that P4 is here to help you and support you in whatever ways we can. As the Co-Director of Public Relations, I am your point person for alumni related issues. If you need to update your mailing address, have questions about upcoming events, are interested in helping with associate developments, or are trying to track down a lost classmate, I can help you out. Whatever your question, I will do my best to answer it.
