WELCOME, This is a great time to get some pictures together before the guests arrive for the ceremony.
We understand how important your pets are to your family and consider ourselves a pet-friendly venue.
Please note we’re unable to allow pets in any carpeted areas such as main dressing room and bedrooms due to allergens except for guide dogs and service animals.
Our team are well rehearsed in managing your day to include your pet and love to hear all about your VIP guest
We ask pets are kept on leads for their security.
From dogs, to cats, horses and more your pet is important to you, and is also important to us.
PRE CEREMONY We suggest they arrive around 1 - 2 hours before the ceremony usually with the second partner or with a dedicated family or friend. During this time, they’ll be able to get familiar with the surroundings and take in any new sights and smells! It’s a chance for them to see some of the faces familiar to them and relax before the ceremony. Any items for your pet such as harness, bow ties, florals, ring carrying items we can have on hand and assist with preparations.

CEREMONY You might like to have your pet included in your ceremony. It’s always special when your pet is part of the ceremony, starring roles have included usher, ring bearer, aisle escort and sign carrying. If you let us know what part of the day they’ll be included in, we can assist and ensure everything runs smoothly for you all. Your pet may be more comfortable seated before the ceremony with a familiar family member or friend.

POST CEREMONY You pet can then enjoy your reception after the ceremony and interact with your guests, a great time for individual and group photos too!

FOOD/WATER If your pet needs food/drink while onsite, you’re welcome to bring this along before/on the day and we’ll ensure this is accessible for their allocated carer/or out for them.
TOILET If your pet should need to toilet while on-site, the grassy overflow car park is available to them. We do ask any foul is collected and disposed of, particularly due to the contamination risk to young guests livestock.
TIME TO REST After all the excitement of the day before you’re seated for the meal is an ideal time to say farewell. You can arrange for them to be collected or returned home by family or friends or you may have a pet sitter arranged.

SERVICE ANIMALS We are fully supportive of service animals in and around the buildings including overnight, they are not restricted in any areas. We’re familiar with working alongside service animals and If you have any questions at any time do call or email the team who are all happy to help.

FAQS Can my pet go inside the New Barn before, during and after ceremony? Yes, they’re most welcome, it’s often cool in the New Barn especially in the Summer, always appreciated by a warm pet. Why can’t my pet stay during the meal and evening? It’s a new and noisy environment for them, your pet will be happier in familiar surroundings or enjoy being well looked after and a fuss made of them by a dedicated person in a quieter and clam space. Can I leave our pet in a vehicle and someone check on them regularly? No, we can’t permit this, we ask pets are supervised at all times for their wellbeing. Can guests bring their pets to our wedding? The same policy and timeline conditions will apply, we can only permit guest pets with your prior permission. The ceremonies team have advised our venue needs to follow their pet guidelines? We’re familiar with their policy and will follow this on the day.
