Choosing a celebrant led wedding allows you to have a personal, fun ceremony without restrictions.
Celebrants will craft a one-of-a-kind ceremony that’s completely personal to you both - whether it’s romantic, light-hearted, traditional, or totally unique. You’ll also have the chance to write your own vows (if you’d like), making the moment even more meaningful.
Celebrant-led weddings are ideal for couples who are marrying before the day itself, planning a vow renewal, or simply want a ceremony that feels truly them.
While celebrant ceremonies aren’t legally binding in the UK (just yet!), most couples choose to do the legal bit at their local registry office either before or after the big day. That way, your wedding ceremony can be 100% yours - no scripts, no rules, just you.

Karina and her team brings years of experience and a personal touch to every ceremony she ceates. She’s been part of The Old Kent Barn story since we opened in 2005. Her ceremonies are heartfelt, bespoke, and always memorable - filled with warmth, meaning, and just the right amount of magic.
