A BILL To enact section 4301.641 of the Revised Code to create an exception for military personnel and ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) to Ohio’s underage consumption law. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 4301.641 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows: 4301.641 Underage exception for Military Personnel (A) Active duty military personnel and honorably discharged veterans younger than twenty-one years of age but older than sixteen years of age may purchase and consume alcohol with no restrictions. (B) Those college students enrolled in a Reserve Officers Training Corps program that are younger than twenty-one years of age but older than sixteen years of age may purchase and consume alcohol with no restrictions.
