Our 1940'S authentic colonial brick home is located along Hampton Roads water's edge at the end of Virginia's Lower Peninsula in Hampton, Virginia. This area of Olde Wythe is among the oldest and most historic places on the Virginia Peninsula It is considered "Olde Wythe" on the National Register of Historic Places Our home sits within walking distance of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, perfect for strolls in any season. The Olde Wythe Historic Neighborhood is known for its charming architecture and lovely waterside views

This spacious home comfortably fits up to 10 people. It consists of one king, two queens, three twin xl beds, and a queen floor sleeper It has multiple comfortable indoor and outdoor shared spaces

It has a bright sunroom perfect for playing games, reading or just taking a well deserved break The living room has a comfortable leather couch to recline where you can channel surf on Smart TV and Wi-Fi internet. Once you ' ve arrived, please do a walkthrough and let us know if you need ANYTHING You will be sent your dedicated home access code The door access pad is black. Press the "YALE" button to reveal the numbers. Put in your access code and press the check mark. You should hear a chime as the door locks are released for entry.

The O'Canoe Houz is audibly monitored by Noise Aware Guests will receive a call from our service team if the decibels become too loud. Hampton City Ordinance creates any sound or noise audible in residential areas between 10:00 p m and 7:00 a.m. People who are too loud could result in a $250 civil penalty.

Virginia is one of seven states that make up the Mid Atlantic Region in the US Due to the state's beautiful location along the Atlantic Ocean, we get our fair share of inclement weather, particularly between June 1 and Nov 30 official hurricane season. We will do everything possible to work with you should your stay be interrupted. Properties in this area are zoned alphabetically A D. The Ocanoe Houz Property is located in Zone A in an area most at risk of flooding and storm surge

Please know your safety is our priority. Should the Hampton Roads area experience a mandatory evacuation due to a major weather event, The Ocanoe Houz will abide by the City of Hampton and State of Virginia Emergency Management

Zones won't always be evacuated in alphabetical order or are they evacuated necessarily one at a time?

Zone designations are based on storm surges, flooding, and meteorological data. If a storm approaches, emergency managers at the state and local levels will work with local media and use social media and other tools to notify residents of impacted zones and what they should do to stay safe
