Proper waste disposal is essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents. To ensure efficient waste management, residents are expected to bag and tie rubbish from their apartments before bringing it to the designated refuse area. Separate bins are provided for general refuse and recycling, promoting sustainability within our community. Please remember to provide your own bin bags for disposal.
It’s important to note that leaving rubbish in hallways is not only unsightly but also a dangerous violation of our Fire Safety Policy. Residents identified as leaving rubbish in any common areas may be subject to fines.
Additionally, it’s crucial to adhere to recycling guidelines to minimize our environmental impact. Here are some useful resources to help you understand and navigate waste disposal in Copenhagen:
English : Recycling in Copenhagen
Danish : Viden om affald

Please be aware that contamination of waste is taken seriously. If residents are caught contaminating waste, there will be a subsequent charge of 350 Kr. to decontaminate it, ensuring that our waste can be collected by the municipality and disposed of properly.
Let’s work together to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly living environment for everyone in our community.
