WHY NIDO?

All students welcome All third level students are welcome at Curraheen Point, Nido is not designated to any one specific third level provider so we get a good mix of students from all the major colleges and Universities in the city. We can also try to match students up with other students of the same institution if they prefer.

No lottery and a flexible cancellation policy Unlike some providers in the city, we do not hold a lottery for our rooms, simply make a booking via our website online, return the licence and the room is booked. This means students can focus on their academic studies and enjoy their summer rather than worrying about securing a place.

We also understand that students might have applied to several institutions and might be unsure where they’ll attend. Therefore, at the time of writing, Nido offers free cancellation before the 18th of August 2021 (subject to change in-line with CAO results, see our website for updates.)

Social and study spaces Curraheen Point is home to over 140 students each year, and is made up of two parallel buildings with a central courtyard for those few sunny days. It also includes a shared casual study space and reception, with a TV lounge including a Smart TV and sound bar. There is a dedicated study room with writable walls plus HDMI connections to the TV which can be booked for group presentations or individual study time.
