HOW WE’VE RESPONDED TO THE PANDEMIC
Nido acted quickly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our residents, both mentally and physically, despite these unprecedented times.
Here are some of the ways we’re protecting our residents and keeping them up to date:
✓ We provide regular updates on protocol and government guidance to ensure they are always up to date.
✓ We provide hand sanitiser in communal areas and all entrances and exits to the building.
✓ We were the first in the sector to develop a full virtual events programme that has since won awards and is focused on wellbeing both physically and mentally.
✓ Students will see us more often in high traffic communal areas, cleaning and sanitising high touch items. Think door handles, tabletops, lift buttons, exit buttons – all will be getting our undivided attention.
✓ Social distancing is still important to keep everyone healthy, so we will continue to ask students to limit the number of people in common spaces at any one time.
✓ For the safety of all residents, we have added floor stickers showing the right distances to be apart and have reconfigured layouts of shared spaces to maximise use of communal areas, whilst maintaining a safe distance.
✓ The new cleaning schedule is published for students to see.
✓ We have circulated information about the support lines, open at all times, to ensure in an emergency there is always someone to call.
