Hartsville High School Freshman, Dani Melton, purchased bags of stuffed toys for a donation to the Hartsville Fire Department as her service project for the 2017 Miss Hartsville High competition. These stuffed toys will go to child victims of household fires to comfort them after such a traumatic experience. At the age of 11, Miss Melton received a stuffed toy from the Hartsville Fire Department when she herself was a victim of a house fire. “It was nice to have something of my own when I
