It has been a busy fall for Vegreville Composite athletics. Adrienne Mills VCHS Junior High Athletic Director VCHS has run 6-man football, two cross-country teams, senior high golf and five volleyball teams since the beginning of the year! Six-man football ran for a second season, with the number of players participating nearly doubling! In only their second year in the league, the team advanced to the first round of playoffs! It was a tremendous season of growth, led by coaches Bryan Worobec and Glenn Brophy. Cross country saw 14 athletes from junior and senior high participate in three separate meets this year. Nearly all runners achieved personal best times, and we look forward to seeing them all back next season! A season highlight was having 3 top 10 finishers at EIPS zones, for the Jr High team! Big thanks to coaches Adrienne Mills and Chandra Henry. Senior High golf competed in the zone playdown at Whitetail Crossing on September 16th. We are thankful to Mr. Warawa for reviving the program, as we did
