Children with the assistance of their parents and grandparents decorated Christmas cards during the Community Helpers program at the Vegreville and Area Parent Link Centre (PLC) on December 6.

Holyk said the children will be singing some Christmas songs and decorating Christmas cookies with Century Park residents on Dec. 16. “Everyone wins when organizations host intergenerational programs where children connect with seniors.” Holyk read the children a community helper’s story and everyone helped themselves to a light snack. All of the Christmas cards that were decorated will be given to the seniors at Century Park.
