Senior drama rips into Roarin’ 20’s Rosanne Fortier If rehearsed well, a play can hold people in laughter and intrigue. VCHS Drama 10/30 vacuumed their creativity to the max when they presented a smooth and professional production of ‘I Don’t Have a Clue’ by Craig Sodaro on January 15 and 16 at Vegreville Composite High School. The setting and costumes were from the 20’s. The play was a mystery/comedy about Carol Robinson, a quirky hostess hosting a murder-mystery dinner party for six friends. glorified gangster time period known as the Roarin’ 20’s include servings of Capone Caviar and Ma Barker biscuits and the lesser known figure of the 20’s, travelling vacuum salesmen. Ultimately the hammer drops when a wad of cash discovered in the trash has two gangsters in tow, either demanding the money or vowing to serve up revenge (a dish commonly served cold, which is dreadful at any dinner party). As for the solution, well, if the ending sucked, the vacuum was to blame. Following the performance, students presented flowers while they embraced Mrs. Tracy Cook, Senior Drama Instructor, for all her dedicated work. “Thank you for putting up with us for six years.” students said. The cast included Justine Makowecki as Carol Robinson, Hannah Adams as Annette Robinson, April Siggelkow-Corky
