Durability
Cleaning No special cleaning products required. However, solid white will easily get marked and stained and will require elbow grease to clean.
Aesthetics Strongest counter material. However it is not indestructible, and can chip at the edges, especially, and repair is very difficult. Less heat-resistant than natural stone, so caution must be used with hot pots and pans. Discoloration may occur over time, especially if exposed to sunlight.
Maintenance Doesn’t require major maintenance as it’s stain- and bacteria-resistant.

Attractive and modern; available in a wider range of colors than natural stone. Uniform appearance, since it’s man-made from natural materials. Seams are visible, but not too noticeable because of uniformity.
