We believe everyone agrees that we live in a fabulous community here in Millwater. To celebrate theMillwatermag’s second birthday, we are launching the first-ever official Millwater Community Awards. And we’re asking for your help to keep the community spirit alive, and nominate someone you think deserves a little thanks.
3. The owners of theMillwatermag cannot be nominated. 4. In the event of a draw in votes for the overall winner, another vote will be held 5. The five finalist nominees must agree to having their name and photo published in theMillwatermag and on the Millwater Families Facbook page
The lucky winner of the 2016 Millwater Community Award will be awarded a trophy as well as a $500 Bookabach Gift Voucher that they can use towards a bach holiday of their choice – anywhere in NZ!

How it works: Millwater and Totara Views residents are invited to nominate someone they believe deserves recognition for what they do in our community. The nominations need to meet some of the following criteria: 1. Nominee must reside in Millwater or Totara Views 2. They may often offer to help others – ‘go the extra mile’ 3. They may coordinate community activities 4. They may organises donations / undertake charity work within the community 5. They actively contribute to the community spirit by providing unsolicited advice and promoting of local businesses or volutuneer to help out 6. Any other worthwhile reason you can think of!

These finalists will receive a Northern Union $50 meal voucher. The community will then vote on an overall winner for the 2016 Millwater Community Award.
