SOLAR-POWERED REMOTE LED AREA LIGHT

Magnalight.com recently announced the release of its SPLEDB-3 solar-powered LED beacon and SPLED-5 solar-powered LED area light with added options that improve the range of effective applications. Power for both standalone solar-powered LED lights is provided by an integral lithium poly battery charged by a 12-W solar panel. These lights can be mounted to flat surfaces or pole top. The SPLED-5 5-W LED area light is controlled by an integrated motion sensor that brightens or dims the light according to nearby movement and a day-night sensor that switches the unit on when light levels drop below a certain point, typically at sundown. 800-369-6671; magnalight.com

UV LEAK DETECTION LAMP PROVIDES VERSATILITY

Spectronics Corp. introduced the Spectroline TRITAN 365—a multi-LED, broad-beam UV leak detection lamp. When used with Spectroline fluorescent dyes, it pinpoints fluid leaks in industrial systems such as hydraulic equipment, compressors, engines, gearboxes and fuel systems. Weighing 16-oz, TRITAN 365 features three ultra-high intensity UV LEDs for fluorescent leak detection, plus a white light LED for general component inspection. The lamp has an inspection range of 20-ft or more, and its compact head can access cramped areas. A built-in fan keeps the LEDs cool, providing optimum light output during extended use. The TRITAN 365 has an 8-ft or extra-long 20-ft power cord and is available in 120-V, 230-V, 240-V and 100-V models. 800-274-8888; www.spectroline.com 92
