Apardion’s qualified engineers will attend and carry out annual maintenance on all your fire extinguishers.

Having a faulty extinguisher whether its damaged or has lost pressure is not only illegal, but unsafe and potentially life threatening.

All extinguishers will undergo a full inspection as part of the mandatory annual service. Safety components and technical specifications will be checked to ensure the functionality and safety of each extinguisher. Advice will also be given about the type and location of extinguishers ensuring they comply with your Fire Risk Assessment.

Once our servicing is complete, a full report will be sent covering all aspects of the work carried out with any recommendations and requirements.

PAT Testing

Apardion provide a cost effective Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) service to keep your electrical appliances and equipment safe to use.

Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination, but some types of defect can only be found by testing.

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.

Our qualified PAT testing engineers will attend your premises at a time convenient to you.

Once complete, a full report will be sent to you covering all aspects of the work carried out.

Fire Alarm Tests & Emergency Lighting Tests

We understand it can be difficult to keep up to date with fire alarm and lighting testing as well as running everyday business operations.

We offer routine fire alarm and fire bell tests for your business as well as emergency lighting tests.

It is the law to carry out weekly inspections of fire alarms or fire bells.

You should also ensure a brief functional test of your emergency lighting at least once a month and then ensure a full duration test at least every year.
