In 2001 the restaurant saw off competition from all over the country including London’s West End to win the coveted award for Best Pasta Restaurant as voted for by the Pasta and Pizza Association. The following year Plymouth Sound listeners voted the Barbican Pasta Bar Plymouth’s Best Restaurant with a further award for Best Italian Restaurant in the South West. Along with its sister restaurant, the Pasta & Pizza Bar situated in the city centre, the Barbican Pasta Bar has become synonymous with quality, excellent service and value for money.
