Dear Meadows Family, It is our pleasure to present to you the 2020-21 Honor Roll of Donors. Each year in this publication, we take the opportunity to offer our community a candid look into the financial status of our great institution and to thank all those who have made The Meadows School a philanthropic priority.
Clearly, our vibrant community continues to invest in itself and as a result, the future looks very bright indeed. We thank you once again for your support. Without you and your generosity, we would not be the school we are today.
While we were extremely hopeful that last school year would mark the beginning of the end of the global pandemic, we are still in the process of coping with the challenges presented by the disruption. That said, we have taken solace in the strength of our community and worked hard to provide as much of a normal experience as possible to our students. We feel that the results speak for themselves. Because of the support of our families, we have been fortunate to be able to continue to offer an in-person educational experience, both last year and this year and we are confident that brighter days are ahead.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Gregersen Head of School
Matthew Chilton '92 Incoming Board Chair
With that confidence in mind, we look back on the past year and are filled with gratitude for the sacrifices made and the generosity shown by so many to keep our community strong and moving forward. We have been fortunate to see annual giving levels increase in each of the last 5 years in a row, and have thus far been able to raise over 2 million dollars in capital funds to build the STEM expansion to the Barder Hall Upper School building. Moreover, The Meadows School was able to meet the Board of Trustees’ commitment to provide tuition support to any family who was negatively impacted by the pandemic. As a result, the school did not lose a single student due to economic hardship during a year that was extremely difficult for many families.
