Available for streaming on all NBC, ABC, CBS, CW, and iHeartMedia networks, Gaga opened the two-hour-long program (following the six hour pre-show) with a bittersweet rendition of “Smile” by Nat King Cole, accompanying herself on the piano. The words, “Smile and maybe to-

Partnering with Lady Gaga were among the biggest musicians in the industry; the set list ranged from Billie Eilish and FINNEAS to Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion to The Rolling Stones. Despite the musicians being the main entertainers, selected hosts filled homes with laughter and unity. Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon, who all host regular late-night talk shows, joined comedic forces to highlight the importance of light-hearted jokes during some of the country’s darkest times. To continue the series of heartfelt performances, Jennifer Lopez soulfully sang, “People,” made Continued on page 7
