Dear Readers, This piece is simply to share a few nuggets of wisdom and truth that the Lord has been teaching me. I recently learnt one or two things about marriage In particular. For couples who are having issues and misunderstandings, please stop being foolish. Pastor E.A Adeboye always pronounces a particular prayer upon couples when they have just signed the marriage register in the church. He requests of God that whenever they kneel down in prayer together to ask for anything just like they are doing before Him at that present moment, He should do for them.

Now, the devil knows the power of togetherness and unity in marriage, that one will chase one thousand and two will put ten thousand to ight. With such understanding, why do you think the devil will not stay away from couples? Why would he not persistently endeavour to make sure that there is one issue or the other with the husband or the wife being at fault; with no one willing to step down from the "I am right and you are wrong" position.

For the sake of your lives, I admonish couples that they should ensure that do not become fools. Walk away from that disagreement so that you can win your war against the devil. This is because he (the devil) will strike once he sees that both of you are no longer in agreement.

Don't be a fool, lose the argument physically, and yet remain a champion spiritually.

LETS TALK | A LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

The Relish Edition ow pleasant it is to be part of another relishing publishing moment. Grace made it possible for us to publish in glory and splendor. God be mightily praised!

The world as we know it teeters towards the edge of extinction, but we thank God that His Spirit is in us to enable us to get whisked away at the blast of the trumpet and at the appearing of our glorious King. Note that the blast of the trumpet is a sound that can only be picked up by the ears of our spiritual man; therefore continually give heed to what the Spirit is saying so as to get used to hearing spiritual things from heaven above which would help sharpen your spiritual ears against that glorious day.

Elijah was whisked away in a Chariot of Fire. Many minds would have pondered on what such an exhilarating experience would be like. It is not an experience that our senses can comprehend. Our senses lost the wherewithal to contain such glorious and immeasurable pleasure since the Fall. It is a kind of pleasurable experience that shoots us beyond time into eternity. The type that makes every form of pleasure on earth mediocre, worthless and irrelevant. For as many that have been given glimpses into the glory that lies eternally, they anticipate such glory with absolute deadness to the things of the world.

Nothing catches their fancy other than the glory that lie in wait for them. The ultimate level of Glory and Splendour is when we get to see His Face. No heaven, no pleasure, no glory or splendour can amount to seeing the Almighty God face to face. Revelation 22:4 says, “And they shall see His face.” This is an unprecedented ushering into the Holy of Holies and an unspeakable moment that shouldn't be missed by anyone. My prayer for you is that you will see the face of God in the end in Jesus name.

Coming to fulfilment in the timeline of The Mantle and the Pastors' Seeds Family is the Scripture which says “from glory to glory.” The Word of God comes to life as the mantle gets passed on and as Pastors' Seeds Family Executives take up new tasks. Elijah asked Elisha what he wanted as he was about to depart for heaven, and Elisha asked for a double portion of the anointing upon the life of Elijah. This is just a sign of what is about to come! The glory which The Mantle has never witnessed is about to be revealed. Lives are about to experience glorious transformations. More than the Elisha-Elijah experience, a triple, quadruple and an inestimable portion of the anointing and publishing grace is about to be released as The Mantle changes hands. More than ever before, you are about to be taken on a literal, pictorial and graphical publishing ride. Your mind and spirit is about to be taken to realms never seen, heard of or ever experienced before.

With a humble and joyous heart, I introduce the new Editor of The Mantle, Olalekan Adesina (aka Elgee).

He is renowned in a lot of circles for his oratory prowess and platform enchantments. Relish this edition as God uses Elgee henceforth to usher us into newer realms of His glory.

Editorial Prole PASTOR LEKE ADEBOYE is the Coordinator of Pastors' Seeds Family and the Senior Personal Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is actively engaged in the National Youth Affairs of RCCG and serves as the Director of Special Duties. His office covers the activities of the National Youth Protocol and Ushering Departments. He is married to Titilope Adeboye and they are both blessed with a daughter.

AYORINDE ADEBELLO is the Asst. Coordinator of Pastors' Seeds Family. He serves as the Director of Music, Arts and Presentations in the National Youth Affairs Office of RCCG and coordinates the Youth Wing of Africa Missions Organization. He is a Medical Doctor in the fields of Psychiatry and Psychology.

TOKUNBO OLOYEDE is an On-Air Personality at Dove Television (RCCG's Official T.V Station), and the Creative Director at TOY Media (A Multi-Media Organization). Trained at the prestigious Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Training School, he is also a graduate from the Olabisi Onabanjo Univeristy. He heads the Media Department of Pastors' Seeds Family.

BOLARINWA JOSEPH is a lecturer by profession who derives great joy in teaching and impacting lives. His areas of interest are embedded systems and robotics. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing games, watching sports and playing his flute. He is the Assistant HOD of PSF Media and his favourite scriptural quote is “ for by strength shall no man prevail” 1 Sam 2:9.

OLUMIDE ADISA is the CEO of Omat Photography and a graduate of Computer Engineering from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (Ile-Ife). He has quite a number of photographic works in his portfolio and Heads the Photography Unit of PSF Media and also Joshua Ville (RCCG).

AYOMIPO ADEGEYE is a Pharmacist by profession with specialization in academia and research. He is currently running a Master's Programme at Obafemi Awolowo University (Ile-Ife). He is passionate about writing and public speaking and recently finished a short course at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism on Effective Writing and Communication skills. A MISSIONARY WHO BEATS THE ODDS PASTOR

OLUWATOSIN MARGARET

Macaulay

Pastor Margaret Oluwatosin Macaulay is the Special Assistant to the General Overseer in Charge of Northern Africa Region. She is a missionary with a great and dogged faith. She has faced challenges that have crippled so many lives and destinies, yet she soars with the grace of God as she takes the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the unreached places in Africa. She has risen to be a beacon of hope for so many and continues to be a blessing to countless number of people. In this exclusive interview, she shares personal stories about her life and encourages youths to discover and fulďŹ l destiny.

Tell us about yourself?

I was a little rascal (laughs). With my stubborn approach towards life, I had my mother not sparing the rod towards me. But as time went on, I discovered there was an energy inside of me that needed to be utilized, so I began to channel that energy into helping folks and youths around me as much as I could.

Your origin in Christianity?

At the very beginning, I was not born again as many people would have thought, because I grew up like every rascal you have around (laughs). I knew how to simply out my parents' instructions. But with all these, I was able to meet the Lord when I was about

completing my Junior Secondary Education, even though I did not understand what walking with the Lord meant at that time. It was shaky for me, but when I got to the higher institution I began to have a steady walk with the Lord at the Universities of Ibadan and Ife. Kindly let us in into your Educational Background?

I had always wanted to become a Geologist from my Junior Secondary School years because during my teenage years, I was privileged to be exposed to it. My parents subscribed to the National Geographic Magazine and

that was where I got interested in Geology. Something in particular caught my attention.

Suddenly I noted how the writer gave facts on an earthquake that occurred in California and this had me seriously curious like “how in the world did these people know all that?” After that experience I began reading about the subject. Then I read and understood the discipline called Seismology, which of course was the reason behind those scientists' ndings. So I wrote to the Institute of Geological Sciences and they responded by advising me on the course I needed to study. I believe when God has a purpose for you, He makes you come in contact with the right information at the time you need it.

What are the challenges you faced during your education?

I had always wanted to teach and at the same time wanted to be a Geologist. So I registered for combined Honours in two professional elds. It had never been done by anybody before.

My friends wandered how I would be able to cope with studying Geology and Education together which are two professional courses.

During the 3 months summer holiday while in the University, I would go on eld work in the 1st month and then for my teaching practice in the 3rd month. My professors used to refer to me as a crazy girl. I think there was an energy I had with which I engaged myself in meaningful things without getting myself into mischief.

As a person how do you deal with the “fear of the unknown” in the mission eld when you travel abroad?

As a Geologist, the easiest way into other countries is by being a tourist. I take all the necessary steps in the documentation of my travelling papers. By the time I get there, I lodge in a reputable hotel then go around asking questions about the nation as I also take the privilege of making acquaintances. I tell them I am a Geologist from Africa and these makes them get more interested, but as our conversation goes on, I size them up to know how well or far our discussions can go. I once travelled to an Islamic

nation and I was able to visit a place that was prearranged by someone. On getting there, in the course of discussion as usual, I mentioned a problem and proffered a solution to it which made them even more curious as to what I could offer. So they asked me to go and write my proposal. On my next visit there, a meeting was xed between some top government officials and I on a project concerning water resources. That was how we were able to penetrate the place with the Africa Missions.

What would be your advice to youths from your wealth of experience as regards how they approach the varying Sectors in Nigeria in relation to the challenges they face in their choice of study?

First of all, parents play vital roles in this as mine did. Since my parents were educated, they knew how to direct me properly. Looking back right now, I discovered they were able to instil in me an “analytical mind,” because when I look at things I try as much as possible to understand it. Youths need to be focused and their purpose must be clearly de ned, else external forces like friends and family could help push them out of their dreams. Talks and discussion sessions should be organized for proper communication where questions and answers would be taken deliberately to address the basic understanding of what they intend to do with their lives.

On a personal note, we recently discovered that your husband passed away and you have stayed unmarried ever since. How do you

I made up my mind to simply live for God after what seemed to be a disappointment as I did not have children while married to my husband. I used to wake up in the night and cry my eyes out, but at a point I asked God what He wanted me to do after all that had occurred. I decided to simply give myself to the Mission of Christ, which helped me move deeper in my relationship with God. What would be your nal words to youths across the World?

Discover the purpose of God for your life. It does not matter WWW (what went wrong) in your life according to Jeremiah 18: 1-4. If you hand over your life to God, you wouldn't be moved.

Many people would challenge me and say “you're a woman, why do you have to

go through all these?” But I always advice that you make up your mind on what you want to do and don't try to run from the challenges.

Those are the building blocks of every successful story or testimony you would ever share with anyone who cares to listen. If I had not gone through all those challenges, maybe I would have just been one “clinical” Pastor. My father would always tell me “don't just be active, be productive”……so youths should embrace the challenges while they engage in their God given purpose…

SPARKLE! LIGHT UP THE WORLD

hese days, many Christians are comfortable with the mediocre life! In academics, some don't mind getting 50% so long as they pass the course. Some are very happy with their jobs provided it puts food on the table. Ask a modern day Christian "How's your relationship with God going?" and he or she would probably say "Ok", "Normal" or "Just there". Many see nothing wrong with their spiritual, academic, career and social lives when in reality there is BIG room for improvement.

As Christians, we cannot afford to live average lives, we ought to sparkle! To sparkle means to glitter, shine, re ect ashes of light or my favourite de nition— to be brilliant in performance. We have dwelt long enough on Mount Mediocrity, it is about time we started shinning the light, not just within the church premises but in the world!

Whether at home, in school or at work, people need to see the Light in us! We are not called just to simply exist, we need to re ect God's glory and perform brilliantly in all we do.

The Bible says in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men." As Christians, unbelievers should see something different about us. If our lifestyle is not

different from that of the world, we have no message to preach because people watch us more than they listen to our "Christianese". Our actions speak louder than our words!

As Christians, we need to have it at the back of our minds that we are the Bible unbelievers read.

Before unbelievers pick up Bibles, they are most likely to study Christians. They study our lives to see if it's really worth converting to Christianity, and if they cannot see anything special, they'll struggle to accept the faith.

We are called to be sparkling saints not stale servants of God, every area of our lives should sparkle and re ect God's glory!

God has placed us on the earth to be like diamonds. Ever seen a cut diamond before? It sparkles beautifully and re ects light.

To sparkle like diamonds in our world, we need God to mould us into the Christians we ought to be. Like the heat and pressure raw carbon goes through to become beautiful diamonds, we need to surrender wholly to God, submit to His authority and give Him

room to cut away our excesses and burn away the impurities that would stop us from shinning the light and re ecting His glory.

"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light"—Ephesians 5:8 Make up your mind! Sparkle and light up the world.

magine for a moment, a billionaire is looking for an opportunity where resources can be safely invested to grow and be pro table.

Now ask yourself, would you qualify?

On your present merits, would you be called a good investment or would it be a case of “money miss road”? Now, imagine God is the Investor looking for that good opportunity?

This isn't a question of your salvation or faith.

Fortunately “it is by grace you have been saved, through faith” (Ephesians 2:8). The question is, are you a good medium for God's investment? Investments are meant to appreciate in value and bring in returns.

However, when it comes to money and resources a lot of believers are the bad investments. Bad habits, ignorance or poor nancial knowledge, I could write all sorts of horror stories about these. I thank God for grace and forgiveness but you don't have to repeat old mistakes when it comes to money matters. You can become the prime investment God desires.

A seed is a potential. It isn't simply a mini plant or a tree but possibly unplanted forests and it takes a process to realize that potential. God is not partial (Romans 2:11, Ephesians 6:9, Colossians 3:25) and He only gives the

resources that you are able to manage (Matthew 25:15). You can claim the wealth of the wicked, bind, loose, anoint, lay hands, fast and pray for 100 days but why should God waste resources on you if you don't have the capacity to handle it ?(Luke 16:10-12).

So let me ask you; 1.

What do you know?

Ignorance, poverty and suering all walk together, Isaiah 5:13.

What can you see?

What is your nancial vision Proverbs 29:18a. What nancial milestones have you seen concerning your family, ministry & career? Is it based on natural perception, temporary concerns or on an eternal mindset Matthew 6:19-21?

3.

What are you learning?

What books, websites, blogs or magazines do you read, who do you ask & listen to about money? Who are your nancial mentors and what are they teaching you?

4.

What can you do?

Do you plan, budget, save or give? What habits and actions do you need to discover and encourage to become a good investment?

5.

What are you doing?

Have you started taking action? If not, start today. Don't procrastinate and don't be lazy Proverbs 6:9-11. No matter how little, start today if you expect harvest this year!

Finally, I ask you this, what type of eld are you? When the time came for Jacob to pass on the blessing of Abraham, he spoke into his seed? In Genesis 27:26-29, he declared that the smell of his son, his seed, was like a eld that the Lord had blessed. You are also the seed of greatness and there is a blessing that should be passed to you. You cannot be a bad investment like the eld in Proverbs 6:9-11. Esau could and should have been the seed that carried the

blessing into the next generation but something was amiss in him. Think about what kind of seed you are and start doing your part to be the seed that not only brings harvest but also carries the blessing forward this year.

An epistle to the

Young

and

Strong

ilas, bondservant of Jesus Christ, To all the saints at that youthful age of vigour, strength and hope for the next generation.

Grace to you and peace from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Approximately more than two thousand years ago, the Apostle Paul, began his note to the Church in Philippi on a similar note. Since then, a lot of waters have passed under the bridge. The Lord of the Church has continued to build His church and the gates of hades shall not be able to

prevail against it.

Notwithstanding, we are not to be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. The real challenge is usually not in the starting of a thing, but more importantly, how a story ends.

Therefore, one must remain determined to nish strong, and to preserve the re, strength, and glory of the youth. One way to achieve this is to remember that the young are naturally endowed with strength, vitality, zeal, re and

passion. Now the tendency of those who possess energy, freshness, and innovation is to despise those we term the old school.� However the grey hair is in fact another level of glory (Proverbs 20: 29). The zeal of the young should be complemented and balanced by the knowledge of the Elder (Proverbs 19: 2). This is the secret of sustainable victory.

The natural tendency of young people is passion. This zeal often lacks the patience to

However the Bible teaches that passion, enthusiasm, zeal, hard-work, swag, anointing and fresh ideas alone, may not be sufficient to nish strong.

Here are 3 Characters who prove this notion: 1. Esau was a skillful hunter, Jacob a plain man, a mother's boy and one who simply stayed at home. Yet, he had what Esau lacked- WISDOM. (Genesis 25: 27, NLT, NIV Translations).

Who got the blessing? The one with no occupation, whereas the skillful one Esua was cheated out of destiny.

2. In spite of his strength, anointing, and swag, Samson's destiny was truncated because he had “passed the age” to be guided and instructed by his parents (Judges 14:3).

3. Rehoboam foolishly pushed aside the advice of elders, and preferred the

advice of those who lack experience, and ended the glorious dynasty of David, until Jesus restored it (1 Kings 12: 1-18).

That said, be careful not to mistake godly counsel with the “old [backsliding] prophet” (1 Kings 13: 1-33). Therefore, sustainable victory requires an integrated approach; a synergy of both hindsight, insight and foresight. A courtship between zeal and knowledge. A rebrand who balances the tendency of impatience, overzealousness, and “I-Know-It-All,” with wisdom, the fear of God and godly counsel.

Remove not the ancient landmarks which our fathers have set!

Preserve truth! Till I come, give attention to doctrine. Read your Bible! (1 Timothy 3: 13).

Worshipers The rapture is near son, but it is not here yet. Those who will be raptured are those who worship Me truly, not those consumed with “work”- even in My vineyard. True worshippers, not true workers.” y eyes were closed to the world, it was bedtime, and as usual, I did not know when I drifted to the other side of the river. My eyes were opened to an unfamiliar but real terrain, so real I could not differentiate between the two realities. Standing on a busy street was my little sister and I. We began to stroll together. I cannot say for sure where we were headed.

Suddenly, I noticed commotion around. My sister grabbed my arm and asked what the problem was, as we stayed in the northern part of Nigeria, what we feared most was a bomb blast. And only a bomb scare

could trigger such commotion.

Just then, we noticed people looking up into the sky. The atmosphere darkened slightly, the air suddenly became cooler than it was seconds back and I felt a sudden chill slide down my spine. I was yet to digest the events happening around me, when I noticed people looking keenly into the sky; I looked up and saw wings, white, bright and beautiful.

Winged angels were soaring towards the East.

Everything was happening at a terri c pace and I could barely see for sure what each looked like. At that point, I knew what was happening. It was the rapture.

Almost re exively, I began some

in-depth soul searching. I searched if I had defaulted in any way. I tried to remember if I asked for forgiveness for all my sins. Then, I remembered that I read a chapter of my Bible before I slept, that gave me a kind of relief. I feared the worst though. I was so scared I wondered why I was not oating into the heavens just as the Bible said I would. I checked around to see if anyone was ascending into the heavens or having a change of raiment. I held unto my sister. At least, if she was going, she'd pull me along, so I thought.

Then, my eyes were xed on something. It was racing towards the earth from the sky. It seemed as though all the winged angels emerged from this focal point. My heart raced as the gure I saw was a horse. It was a white horse. It shone as though the sun sat upon it. I was scared. Tiny beads of sweat formed like crystals on my forehead. I had previously thought I was meant to feel a kind of peace envelop me. I thought the coming of Christ was supposed to be something I was looking forward to. How come it is here and I am scared to death? Just as I still have this unusual thoughts running through my head. The man on the horse dismounted with one swift move. As He stepped down, He began to walk briskly towards me. I know so many people who have been shown such revelation say they could not see Jesus' face. With me, it was different. He was so handsome, I don't think I have seen a man so perfectly carved. In fact, I wondered how a man could be bestowed with such seamless beauty. His face shown, He was not just a man!

At that instance, I noticed He had a slight frown on his forehead. As He came close, I felt like a child, whose father was about to give him a sound beating for erring. Goose bumps rose from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, as I awaited the worst occurrence. My sister wriggled her hands free, for I was the one holding her now. She ran towards Jesus, who had now gotten close to me, and grabbed His feet and began to worship Him. My only defence, which I had

carefully erected for whatever wrong I may have done, was the fact that I just read my bible a moment ago. But that was obviously not going to cut any ice. My sister on the other hand, was immersed in worship, lost in adoration. I was silent, I remained silent, and there was nothing I could say to change anything. I felt naked as I stood in His presence. All the things I had done in life came to me vividly with no struggle. This was it, this was rapture. What will He say to me?

What does He think of me? What should I say? I did not have to say anything for He soon spoke.

I have been asked these questions lately by a lot of ladies who wish to ditch relaxers; “Do I have to cut off all my hair (aka Big Chop) and start over?”, “How can I grow out my relaxed ends without cutting it all at once?”, “My hair is so tough even in its relaxed state, how will I cope with it being natural?”

I'd like to say that cutting your hair completely is a matter of choice and individual comfort level. If you have chosen not to do the big chop by cutting all your relaxed ends off, then welcome to the world of TRANSITIONING. Some people may transition for 6

months and chop off all their relaxed ends because they're comfortable enough to rock a short look ( or a Teeny Weeny Afro a.k.a. TWA). Some others will rather transition gradually over a period of several years, trimming off the relaxed ends every other month till they reach a comfortable length.

Here are a few guidelines for a smooth journey to the natural: 1.

Take your time and build a regimen: Transition at your pace. Take the time to learn your curls, love and cultivate them, and I'm sure you'll fall in love with it. You might discover that you will cut off your ends faster than you thought initially. Consistency is the key to attaining goals. You will also need to develop a

simple regimen which is knowing what you will be doing to your hair and how often. Care for your hair.

Stay away from direct heat: There will be a temptation to use at irons regularly to “blend” both textures in by straightening the new growth. By doing this regularly, you run the risk of damaging the new growth which is the natural hair you want to maintain! Safer alternatives are styles that require indirect heat (bonnet dryers) or just air drying. These could include braid outs, roller sets, rod sets, etc. These styles help to blend both textures in because of the curls you get from “setting” the hair.

Condition, condition, condition: Keeping your hair conditioned is essential as you are transitioning, especially the weak area where your relaxed and natural hair meet. The new hair will need lots of moisture and even your relaxed ends can bene t from the extra dose of love.

Try adding a deep conditioning and/or hot oil treatment weekly. If you do this consistently you should notice good difference in your hair. Deep conditioning should no longer be a special treat! Your hair will need all the moisture it can get. This is a sure way to hydrate, help soften your new growth and strengthen your hair, particularly when you use heat—either a steamer or a warm bonnet dryer. The heat raises the cuticles of the hair, allowing the conditioner to penetrate through to the cortex of your hair, nourishing and moisturizing at a deeper level. Remember to always rinse off your conditioner with cool water as this will help seal the cuticles that have been raised by the heat.

Do everything in sections: When you're transitioning, your hair begins to tangle particularly when it is wet. Separate the hair into workable sections (4 - 6 or more depending on

your length) and work with each section, combing gently. Not only will you lose less hair this way, you will save yourself countless headaches and get less frustrated dealing with 2 different textures on your head.

Do more protective styling: Braids, weaves etc. They are a great way to let the hair be for a number of weeks so it's given the chance to grow in peace. That doesn't mean you should braid your hair or x a weave and completely forget to take care of it! You should hydrate your hair daily by spritzing a water based moisturizer all over and if you have a weave installed, then raise your tracks and show your hair some love! Trust me that will make the difference from having dry, brittle hair that is breaking off when you remove your braids/weaves.

There have been times you've combed your hair and have hair strands literally covering every surface around you. That's what happens when the hair has become too dry—it snaps off. A good braid sheen will work or you can mix up something in your spritz bottle. I usually have water, glycerin, leave-

in-conditioner and some oil in my spritz bottle.

Finally, be patient with your hair.

Yanking a comb through your hair, pulling at your hair and brushing too harshly will be counterproductive to the goals you want to achieve. And as you go on this journey, I believe you will develop your own tips that will make transitioning a less stressful journey for you.

saviour I got born again a few years ago, and I have only been able to stay born again by the grace of God. We all have different salvation stories. I remember mine during the children church days, I might not have understood the details, but one thing caught my attention in the sermon my teacher was giving; The fact that my father is a pastor is not my ticket into heaven, I had to be born again by myself, for myself.

I think giving your life to Christ is the easy part; letting Him take control of your life seems more difficult. It's one thing to have Christ save us from sin, but it's another to let Him be Lord over our affairs. Taking a look at Matthew 11: 28-30; verse 28 says, “Come unto me all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” The ampli ed version says, “I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.” There is the peace that passes all understanding that we all experience after giving our lives to Christ. As good as that scripture sounds, it doesn't end there, there are further bene ts in verses twenty nine and thirty.

Verse twenty nine (NLT) says “take my yoke upon you, let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will nd rest for your souls.” In other words, in

exchange for all our burdens and heavy loads, we are to take his yoke. A yoke is an implement of animal husbandry, used to bring animals into subjection. In the same vein, accepting the yoke of Christ means coming under His leadership, and being in subjection to Him. The verse goes on to say that we should let Him teach us.

So, it's not enough to be in the body of Christ, we are supposed to be learning, and it is in learning to be like Christ that we nd rest for our souls.

This might all seem very hard, but am sure it is not because verse thirty (NLT) goes on to say that His yoke ts perfectly, not too big or too tight, but just the right size, and His burden is light, not the kind that heavily ladens us.

Dear friend, the life we have been called to live is a race that we are supposed to run with endurance, stripping off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress, Hebrews 12:1. Christ has been tempted as we are, yet He was without sin, and we have been given access to boldly come before

the throne of grace to obtain mercy and nd grace when we need it, Hebrews 4:15, 16. If you are born again, I rejoice with you, but I will also like to remind you that that is not the end of the road. If you have not submitted yourself to the yoke of Christ, please do so, and allow Him free rein over your affairs.

If you have never made the decision to accept Christ into your heart, this is yet another opportunity. If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness, 1John 1:9. Give your life to Christ today, and begin the journey of faith, and remember the decision is accepting Him as Lord as well as Saviour.

During the days I pondered on this quote, I realized that time had so many things in common with the currency we spend. Inasmuch as it has similarities, it also has strong differences that can't be overlooked.

Typically, currency can refer to any object that has a perceived value and can be exchanged for other objects.

We can't value the currency of our time in an exact exchange rate, so we spend it based on its real value. Sometimes, we spend it frivolously, sometimes judicially. Would you spend your monetary currency in such a way? Most What quali es time as a form of of the time, we value currency? Some years ago, I saw a movie and in that movie, people had to pay for everything in the currency of time. As soon as their time runs out, they die. At the end of that movie, I came to realize that time is the only currency that spends itself, that values itself as it moves through itself, and is always in balance when the account is closed. If we had to live our lives like the people in that movie, how many of us would be alive?

The Bible encourages us as children of God to spend our time wisely.

Ephesians 5:16 says “making the best use of your time because the times are evil” (International standard version).

Taboo Tatoos WITH

I steadily began to notice the preponderance of tattoos on the bodies of youths in our society. I would walk into a barber shop for a haircut and would be greeted to visible tattoo wearing barbers. Then I gradually began to notice them on the bodies of young and popular music acts in Nigeria who even sang about them.

I wondered why they wore tattoos.

Do they understand the implication?

Are there any chances they may regret their actions in the future?

What does a tattoo represent? Does it stigmatize? Are there health risks, and if yes, what are they? Do these youths know the answers to these questions? I would begin with a bevy of facts associated with the wearing of tattoos.

Tattoos are a taboo in Chinese society. Tattoos had negative connotations in historical China, where criminals had been often marked by tattooing.

In Japan, as at June 6, 2012, all new tattoos were forbidden for employees of the city of Osaka.

Existing tattoos are required to be covered with proper clothing. The regulations were added to Osaka's ethical codes, and employees with tattoos were encouraged to have them removed. This was done because the strong connection of tattoos with the Yakuza, or Japanese organized crime, after an Osaka oďŹƒcial in February, 2012, threatened a schoolchild by showing his tattoo.

In Russia, tattoos are generally considered an important part of the culture of the ma a.

A study of "at-risk" (as de ned by school absenteeism and truancy), adolescent girls

showed a positive correlation between body modi cation and negative feelings towards the body and low self-esteem; however, the study also demonstrated that a strong motive for body modi cation is the search for "self and attempts to attain mastery and control over the body in an age of increasing alienation.�

Infections that can theoretically be transmitted by the use of unsterilized tattoo equipment or contaminated ink. These include surface infections of the skin, fungal infections, some forms of hepatitis, herpes simplex virus, HIV, staph, tetanus, and tuberculosis. Though as at 2009 (in the United States), there have been no reported cases of HIV contracted from tattoos.

The most common method of tattooing in modern times is the electric tattoo machine.

This modern procedure is ordinarily sanitary. The needles are single-use needles that come packaged individually.

Will a tattoo ever be associated with responsibility the same way a neck tie would on a formally dressed man? Would the queen of England ever put on a tattoo? Has a tattoo wearer ever risen to become the President of a Nation, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Secretary of State or Chief Judge of the

Federation? Would a tattoo wearer ever become the president of any Nation? Could it possibly mean that wearing of a tattoo places a limit on the potential of the wearer?

you can't count. Some relationships are passive, some business, some social, some biological, some emotional, some eternal, some official, some productive, some destructive etc.

Relationship becomes a very important part of our lives because it affects our efficiency, productivity, reputation and growth. Thus, it is arguably the most important part of our lives we must have a good grip on…So help us God! We must always consider three things before deciding what to do with a current,

pending or future relationship. They are the PURPOSE of the relationship, The COST of the relationship and The REWARDS and MUTUALITY of the relationship. We all need to know why a particular relationship is developing or should be developed, what it would cost us to develop it and how the development of that relationship would develop us, and since it is always between two or more people, how the other

parties feel is as important as how we do. If these are clearly understood, we would be certain of the relationships to strengthen, renew, terminate or initiate.

As we realize now, relationships are in categories and the most important thing to consider of all is PRIORITY. Some relationships must be built before others can be considered and of all relationships to be built, our relationship with GOD must be rst and above everything else.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) says, “But seek ye rst the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Our relationship with God is the rst step to a successful relationship with anyone anywhere, as even He is the One to guide us into relationships.

Hence, the commandment to seek Him, His Kingdom and His righteousness rst. If we consider the parameters of relationships as stated above, our relationship with God becomes even more pressing.

A quip says “Relationships are like connecting bodies of water, they happen in one place and they keep owing around the earth.” You can review your relationship with God now and make it happen right down on your knees.

Ladoucer engages his team in the study of the book of Luke stating that all good deeds will not go unrewarded. This study meets mixed reactions from the team as some of the members were facing challenges that make the message in the book of Luke seem untrue.

The winning streak finally comes to an end and the team faces the difficulty of clearing their heads and looking beyond the disappointment of losing the streak. After visiting a veteran's rehabilitation centre, the team finally gets back to winning ways with Ryan (One of the team's best performers and record chaser) three touchdowns from breaking the touchdown record.

The movie ends with Ryan telling his team mates that it will be wrong to end his time with them chasing personal glory (He was one touchdown away from breaking the touchdown record and would have done so if he wanted to) but instead gives up the ball and raises his helmet (in tribute) to the coach who brought them all there.

BLIND LUCK One day at a busy airport, the passengers on a commercial airliner are seated, waiting for the cockpit crew to show up so they can get under way. The pilot and co-pilot finally appear in the rear of the plane, and begin walking up to the cockpit through the center aisle.

Both appear to be blind. The pilot is using a white cane, bumping into passengers right and left as he stumbles down the aisle, and the co-pilot is using a guide dog. Both have their eyes covered with huge sunglasses. At first the passengers do not react; thinking that it must be some sort of practical joke. However, after a few minutes the engines start spooling up and the airplane, starts moving down the runway.

The passengers look at each other with some uneasiness, whispering among themselves and looking desperately to the flight attendants for reassurance. Then the airplane starts accelerating rapidly and people begin panicking. Some passengers are praying, and as the plane gets closer and closer to the end of the runway, the voices are becoming more and more hysterical. Finally, when the airplane has less than 20 feet of runway left, there is a sudden change in the pitch of the shouts as everyone screams at once, and at the very last moment the airplane lifts off and is airborne.

Up in the cockpit, the co-pilot breathes a sigh of relief and turns to the Captain: "You know, one of these days the passengers aren't going to scream, and we are gonna get killed!"

How to rock the bags? On a date or formal meetings you can cling to your clutches and for casual or beach outings you can pick any of your handbags.

Scarves and headgear: Now, here is the fantastic one. The scarves are in vogue and there are awesome styles to it. You can learn to style it on YouTube. Rocking this is very easy and you can create your own style. Get colours that match your wardrobe… (I mean your clothes), and throw them over your neck through your shoulder or create a knot to get a bow tie.

In the beginning of nature was chaos until a rule of law and order was put in place by the Almighty (Gen 1). Someone said, “the understanding of the beginning is the beginning of understanding.”

We want to be free as teenagers from our nagging parents. We want to be free from the war that goes on in our nations. We want to be free from our superiors that oppress us at our places of work and many more examples of which I don't have the ink to explain.

Nevertheless, the problem of insubordination has been the problem of the world from the very beginning of things (Gen 3).

Adam and Eve against GOD, Gehazi against Elisha, Hagar against Sarah, Joab against David etc. This has been a recurrent issue in the world today as the enemy (Satan) has robbed us of a consciousness of being subject to authority in purity.

We have been misguided by what the irrational thinking of “I'VE GOT TO BE BY MYSELF” has caused us, and we have lost the 3 keys of discipline, diligence and denial. These are supposed

to guide us into active, vigorous and humble service. A good example of a Bible character who humbled himself is David. He docked the spear of Saul and would have been killed, yet he still served under Saul until the time he received the crown as the king of Israel. He was serving the king and also ghting the philistines but from a different place. David craved freedom and he had many opportunities to have been free from the irrational leadership of Saul but waited for God's validation and not that of man.

/ HOME MADE Delicious and nourishing food does not have to take forever to prepare in the kitchen. I really like Fish Cakes, yummy! I like to play with different food items; it could get boring just putting fish, meat or chicken on my rice or swallow. I like to use them in other ways. Plus, it makes me feel good, like I spent the whole day cooking, Hahaha! But it's really easy and anyone that likes fish will like this recipe. It serves at least 4 people.

You could eat the cakes alone or with cereal for breakfast. I like to have my fish cakes on a bed of lettuces, sliced cucumber and a few slices of tomatoes.

Next time I make them, I will put one between a bread roll; fish cake burger! I hope that will taste good?

Ingredients

For this recipe, I like to use mackerel; it's oily, flavorful and just delicious.

500g—about 2 large mackerel fish or any other type of fish you like.

1 medium size onion, chopped 50g of flour or breadcrumbs 1\4 teaspoon of dry pepper seasoning. Mix it all together, but be careful not to 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter break the sh too much in the process of mixing it Oil for shallow frying Seasoning to taste with salt and pepper up. Form the mixture into 4 large patties or 8

smaller ones.

Recipe 1.

Season and cook the sh. Let it cool off. Then drain any excess water, remove all the bones and break the sh into large chunks.

Cook the potatoes; drain excess water, if any.

Add the oil or butter and mash the potatoes. Then let the mash cool off.

Gently mix the mashed potatoes with the aked sh, add the chopped onions, pepper, peas, sweet corn, spinach and cheese. You can also add a pinch of salt and

Break and mix the eggs in one bowl, then put the our in another bowl. Dip each Pattie in the egg, then into the our mixture and arrange them in a tray or large plate. Put the patties in the fridge for about 20 minutes or in the freezer for 8 minutes just for them to rm up before they are fried, that way, they will not soak up a lot of oil.

Pour oil in a frying pan, carefully lower the sh cakes into the oil and cook for 5 minutes on one side or until golden brown, ip them over and cook the other side.

“And God said, let us make man in our own image, after our likeness”- Gen. 1:26

Since we are made in the image of God and after His likeness, why can't we manifest the nature of God? Why can't we be known with all that is associated with God? Why can't we dominate our world? he above scripture showcases the words of God with the Heavenly Council, made up of His Son and the Holy Spirit; God said “let Us”. Let us, is a statement that shows idea, a word that depicts suggestion. God was of the idea of making man in the Trinity's image and it was accepted, so we are products of the idea of God. We are GOD'S IDEA. As the idea of God created in His image, we possess all that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit possess, having been made in their image, and after their likeness. It was in this likeness that Adam was able to name all animals as God gave him the order, without the mistake of naming one twice (Gen. 2:19-20). He was full of the knowledge of God. Since we are made in the image of God and after His likeness, why can't we manifest the nature of God? Why can't we be known with all that is associated with God? Why can't we dominate our world? Why can't we manifest His glory and likeness in our world? WHY? —The answers to all these “WHY's” are simple and not farfetched. SIN!

Adam and Eve altered this divine nature of God in us through the sin of disobedience (Gen 3). They both did what God told them not to do. Sin made man fall from where God had placed him. It destroyed the image and likeness of the Trinity in man. It took away the glory of God that man was covered with, altered God's plan for man and replaced it with shame. Though we are still products of God's idea, we are not where God placed us at creation as a result of sin. Sin causes the nature of God in us to die and we become far away from God when sin is allowed.

Irrespective of sin, God in His great love (Eph.2:4) wants us back on track. He wants us to manifest His likeness that we lost through the fall of Adam.

That's the reason why He sent Jesus to the world, as the sacri ce for our redemption (John 3:16). Adam failed, but Jesus, being the second Adam, out of His love for man and submission to His father

(Matt.26:39), was punished and slain for our sins. This brought us back to where God placed us at creation; Jesus' death restored our dominion. It is now up to us to accept Jesus who is our only means of redemption. When we accept Him as our Lord and stick to Him, we fully activate this dominion He redeemed for us; we fully manifest the likeness of God. Having been enlightened that we are His idea, created in His image and likeness to have dominion, we must do away with anything God doesn't want. Sin destroys the nature of God in us and takes us farther from where God wants us to be. God created us to have dominion, we can't afford not to, for WE ARE HIS IDEA. here comes a time in life when we need to ask ourselves this question, “What exactly am I looking for in life?� In our churches these days, you will hardly nd 30% of worshippers

who truly love God and are not in church for sel sh reasons. Many are Christians not because they love Him but they have come to understand that without Him they can't be what they want to be in life. That's why

many people run after the miracles of God and not the God of miracles. What they are looking for, are the miracles and not God.

Many are in church today, because they need connections with big business partners, since they know there are lots of them in church.

I got to a certain point in my journey with God that I asked myself why I wanted to follow Jesus and not the devil? Is it because of those things he promised to give me if I seek righteousness?

Sincerely answer these questions; why are you following Jesus Christ?

Why are you in church?

Many are in church today, because they need connections with big business partners, since they know there are lots of them in church.

Some are in church, because they need a godly brother or sister to get married to. This means we are focusing on the wrong things. The Bible says, “Seek ye rst the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” it doesn't say we should make those things He has promised us our focus, as we are

seeking His Kingdom and righteousness. All He is saying is seek His Kingdom and righteousness having trust in Him that he has taken care of your tomorrow and your needs (Matthew 6:34).

But seek ye rst the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33a).

So what are you looking for?

To have faith in God is one level and to trust Him is another level. When the four Hebrew guys were thrown into the re, they said “our God will deliver us” (that's faith). They went further to say “even if He doesn't deliver us we won't bow to other gods” (what would you call that????). When we go around chasing what we want, we end up missing what we need. Until we learn to truly focus on Kingdom business, we may miss out on true Anifowose Ayodeji success.

When absent, it renders him a walking corpse. The sight is also essential for vision which determines how far he can go in life. A man that is restricted in his level of sight, is restricted in his level of imagination which therefore goes ahead to aect his productivity. A lot of people in the Bible went far as a result of what they were able to envision in their minds. For example; God`s vision for creating man is for a prototype of His heavenly kingdom on earth, while the vision of the Devil is to create a rebellious nation against God's kingdom. In giving an oering to God, Abel saw it as an avenue to give the rst out of his best, while Cain saw it as a way of disposing his last out of the rest. Noah saw the building of an ark as an opportunity of restoring holiness and righteousness to mankind but the people saw it as a waste of time and resources.

Elisha saw the River Jordan as a venue for Naaman to be healed while Naaman saw it as a dirty river.

King Nebuchadnezzar saw the ery furnace, as a place to punish Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego, but the 3 Hebrew boys saw it as a place to create an

awareness of the only Sovereign God. Joseph was seen by his brothers as a dreamer, but God saw him as a Prime Minister.

Jonah saw going to Nineveh as inconvenient, but the Lord saw it as an opportunity to migrate people into His kingdom.

The army of Israel saw Goliath as a warrior impossible to conquer, but David saw him as a meal to the birds.

David was seen as a shepherd boy, but Prophet Samuel saw him as a King in Israel.

In view of all these, what helped to strengthen them was, Vision. What you see determines your destination greatly. Your sight is a great tool in achieving that great end you have in view.

So, change how you see to change your thinking. Change your thinking to change how you feel and change your feelings to guard your heart cos out of it ows the issues of life. See you at the top!

testimony God is a gracious God. After reading my Open Heavens in the morning, I patiently went through my Bible in one year. The Holy Spirit called my attention to where I was reading in Isaiah 43vs 1-4. He said "use it to pray very well."

I prayed in the best way I could, not knowing He had foreseen what will happen to me in school.

When I got to school for my 1st lecture, I was okay. I was still in the class for my 2nd lecture when my eyes suddenly went blank. I was not able to see or hear anything. I said within me, Is this how people die? I almost fell off the chair, because I felt very weak, but He held me. Immediately, He said to me, plead the blood of Jesus. I began to plead the blood of Jesus within me. If I shouted, my mates would have thought that I had gone mad because it was not relevant to what we were studying in class. God told me that I will not die. He made me to sleep during lectures which has never happened before. When I woke up, I was okay, I could see more clearly, I could talk and I had regained my lost strength.
