When you’re building or renovating a home, there are a million and one questions you must answer, but once the big things have been nailed down (no pun intended), that’s often when the fun begins—when a home really begins to come to life, and you can put your personal stamp on a space. Do you want soapstone, serpentine, Corian, or concrete countertops? A modern entry with an orangered double door and cypress latticework or rustic sliding barn doors and stone walls? A cast-iron tub positioned for water views or an all-glass shower with pebbled tile?
