Mixed Berry Pretzel Dessert
This mixed berry pretzel dessert is a delicious symphony of sweet and salty delight with an irresistible combination of flavors everyone will love. Imagine a crumbly pretzel crust that gives way to a creamy, dreamy, sweet cream cheese filling, topped with a layer of blueberry pie filling bursting with flavor, studded with juicy fresh berries. A flavor explosion of sweet, tart, and salty in every bite.
Ingredients
Pretzel Crust
• 2 ½ cups coarsely crushed pretzels
• ⅔ cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoon all purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ¾ cup butter, melted
Cream Cheese Mixture
• 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
• 8 ounce extra creamy cool whip
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 21 ounce can blueberry pie filling
• 6 ounce fresh raspberries
• 6 ounce fresh blueberries
• 6 ounce fresh blackberries
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375° and lightly spray a 9×13 baking dish with a non-stick cooking spray.
Pretzel Crust
Using a food processor or a large baggie, add pretzels and crush into small pieces.
In a large bow add coarsely crushed pretzels, brown sugar, flour, and vanilla. Stir.
Melt butter and add to the pretzel mixture. Stir to combine.
Spread the pretzel mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Press into an even layer, reserving ½ cup of the pretzel mixture to use for the topping.
Bake for 10 minutes then remove and let cool completely.
Cream Cheese Mixture
In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add powdered sugar and beat until combined.
Next, add the cool whip and mix just until combined.
Once the pretzel crust has cooled completely, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pretzel crust.
Spread the blueberry filling on top of the cream cheese mixture.
Add the fresh berries over the pie filling.
Sprinkle reserved pretzel mixture on top.
Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

TAURUS (Apr. 21-May 20)
You will be able to move on successfully with something you initially planned or attempted to put into place from mid August. Don’t worry about the end result but rather make a decision to move forward and you could be surprised with what suddenly presents itself. Endings can result in greater harmony with daily routines.
LEO (July 23-August 22)
You can now go ahead and make final decisions to 9th September on something you might have attempted since mid August. Part of this could be realising that there is no point in trying to work out a mysterious position that somebody else might want to take. Someone who says it as it is will be the one to give you peace of mind.
GEMINI
(May 21-June 20)
Determination to do things your own way can bring a fighting spirit to the surface mainly because of what you want to accomplish in the long term. Something you were either not that clear about from mid August, which might also have included agreements that couldn’t be reached, will now move forward to mid September.
VIRGO (August 23-Sept.22)
SCORPIO (Oct.23-Nov21)
The sudden realisation that somebody else will set out to please themselves can now place you in a situation where you need to find time to yourself to weigh things up and decide how best to structure your life. Commitments can come into this. You are in a better position to move forward with decisions to early September.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb.18)
An unexpected change in the attitude of somebody else could suddenly bring things out into the open. Where it may have been difficult to get an answer from them since mid August, they could now become straightforward with what they have to say or decide to early September. This is more likely to be to your benefit.
There is benefit in keeping your own goals in mind, even if this requires some sort of rebellion on your part. Responding to others wanting you to be guilty and back off, is not the way to go. You might need to keep thoughts to yourself for now but with any contemplation you will start to move forward from now to 9th September.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22-Dec.21)
You could have a frank discussion with somebody else when it comes to their ideas or decisions they want to make and how this ties in with what are important priorities to you. This may have held you back from being able to think about future goals clearly since mid August but now to early September you can move forward.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
If it is difficult to work out the position somebody else is taking, now is the time to ask in a straightforward manner, even if this is not the way things are normally done. Their tendency will be to become more secretive to late September. If there are details that you want to move forward with, now to early September willmakethispossible.
CANCER
(June 21-July 22)
A conversation you didn’t expect to have could take your mind in an interesting direction of wondering about future possibilities that seem unreal in some way. It can change the whole structure of your life. This is something you need to take your time to weigh up to late September. More questions will rise in your mind.
LIBRA (Sept.
23-Oct.22)
Venus, your ruling planet will move into your sign this week where it will remain until 23rd September. This change can decidedly increase your determination to generate happiness and balance on a personal level. You can also move ahead to early September with priorities you may have been reconsidering since mid August.
CAPRICORN
(Dec. 22-Jan.19)
Any difficulty to ascertain what someone else has expected since mid August could begin to change direction to early September, though you would need to pay careful attention. Primarily you need to remain focussed to late September on the level of commitment you feel comfortable about dealing with, combined with usual routines in life.
ARIES (March 21-April 20)
It might seem time is suddenly running out to work on getting matters that need to be dealt with on a regular basis in better order, as you had intended. Distractions of late can start to settle down in one way but social activity and more interaction with others will start to pick up. This is why it is important to get to and do things now.

Mounties make largest drug seizure in Prince George history
On August 21, 2024, Prince George RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter in progress at a residence on the 4400-block of Fifth Avenue. While investigating the break-and-enter, police officers noted a large number of counterfeit cigarettes in the home.
Police officers obtained a search warrant for the residence where they discovered a significant number of illicit drugs within the home. In total, nearly 40 kilograms of illicit drugs, including suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine; over 11 kilograms of cannabis; 11 kg of an apparent cutting agent; approximately 120,000 counterfeit cigarettes; and more that half a million dollars in cash were located and seized.

"We would like to recognize the hard work and dedication of our police officers, which led to this unprecedented drug seizure. It is obvious we can no longer ignore the effects of the B.C. Gang Conflict in Prince George, as this is a clear indication that more than our local drug traffickers are using Prince George as a base of operations. We will be increasing our enforcement efforts in this area, to reflect these developments," states Inspector Darin Rappel, interim Detachment Commander for the Prince George RCMP. Police officers would also like to thank the person who reported the initial break-and-enter as it was occurring, as this allowed for the discovery of the counterfeit cigarettes and the illicit drugs. Police encourage citizens to keep an eye out in their neighbourhoods and report all suspicious activity.
