2025 GOLF SCHEDULE

WELCOME TO THE 2025 GOLF SEASON

Welcome to the 2025 Golf Season! Last year marked a historic milestone with record-breaking participation and the highest number of golf rounds in club history. Anticipating another fantastic year for golf, we urge you to mark your calendars for upcoming events as they tend to fill up quickly. Specific sign-up times for major events will be announced, so keep an eye out for those dates. We’ve made a few changes to the dates and formats of some tournaments. The growth of our ladies and couples events is a priority, and we look forward to building on that success.

Our junior program has experienced tremendous growth over the years. Witnessing these young talents evolve into competitors is both thrilling for the game and beneficial for the club. NEW this year will be our Junior Club Championship on Saturday, August 3rd, open to ages 5-17. This family-friendly event allows parents to caddie for their junior golfers, creating a memorable tradition.

A heartfelt thank you from our Professional Staff for your continuous support throughout the golf season! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Regards,

AGRONOMY

AGRONOMY WELCOME

FROM WYATT KOTARY

Dear Members,

First off, I would like to say how appreciative to be in the position I am here at The Ledges. I am very excited to start my first full season as the Director of Golf & Grounds Maintenance. This place is incredibly special and breathtaking, and I am so grateful I get to be a small part in creating conditions that every member will be proud of. We will continue to make improvements throughout the course and never stop working hard making small changes to build into one of the best conditioned courses in the country.

This year will be focused on plant health, aesthetics, and playability. Our dedicated crew will be consistently and diligently making sure that the big picture is always kept in mind and small details are never missed. We are positioned this year to be as good as we have ever been, and I am so enthusiastic about the potential of this great property.

Again, thank you so much for your support and I hope to see you all out there as much as possible!

Sincerely,

LADIES GOLF

LEDGES LADIES GOLF CLINICS

2025 is the year for our ladies golf to boom! We have exciting programs that will launch this year. This year we will focus on creating and reaching goals in every aspect of the golf swing. We will have a goal or test days at least once a month, which will consist of a scoring system that you will try to beat. Reaching these goals will help us be more consistent from putting all the way to driving the golf ball. We will have 2 different levels to choose from which will help with class sizes with more focus on great instruction. The Golf Staff’s goal this year is to have the biggest turnout for the Ladies Club Championship we have ever had.

LADIES CLINIC

WEDNESDAYS 5:30-7:00 PM

Beginning with basic fundamentals, this group is designed for women brand new to the game of golf. May and June will be spent learning how to make consistent contact with the ball, followed by an introduction to the golf course in July. August will be spent playing on the golf course and by September the group will be ready for friendly competition.

THURSDAYS 10:00-11:30 AM

For women who have completed one year of clinics, this class aims to enhance skills, with a focus on improving contact. The program includes refresher lessons on basic fundamentals in May, swing-based drills in June, and a focus on golf course management in July—learning when to use each club for optimal scores. Unlike previous years, August and September will shift focus to playing individual balls instead of group scrambles.

LADIES PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Join us for the 2025 Ladies Clinic, where you have the opportunity to earn the prestigious “Player of the Year” title! Throughout the year, you can accumulate points by participating in various activities, including:

- Playing in tournaments

- Practicing on your own

- Attending weekly clinics

- Completing the Skills Challenge at the end of each class

At the end of the year, the player with the most points will be crowned the 2025 Ladies Clinic Player of the Year. Get ready to improve your game, have fun, and compete for this exciting honor!

JUNIORS

LA JUNIORS

The LA Juniors golf program at The Ledges is divided into two groups based on age and skill level: the Rising Stars and the Elites. Rising Stars practice on Tuesdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m. during the school year, and from 2:00–3:30 p.m. in the summer.

Elites have practice on Thursdays from 4:00–6:00 p.m. during the school year, Tuesdays from 4:00–6:00 p.m. during the summer, and Saturdays from 1:00–3:00 p.m. year-round.
