It all started with a kickball game. “I was visiting a friend in New York when she invited me to watch her kickball league play on the Lower East Side,” Cara says. Once there, she met Matt, and the two quickly hit it off, despite Cara residing in Philadelphia. Three years later, the couple found themselves wandering through Central Park when Matt popped the question in a secluded spot along the edge of the lake. “I pulled the ring from my pocket, but forgot to say ‘Will you marry me?’” Matt recalls. “Cara politely reminded me that I had to ask!” The ring: Jay Roberts Jewelers >>
