Dear Friends,

The 2023/2024 Season was a hallmark season for our organization, as we celebrated 40 Years! Since The Kentucky Center opened its doors in November of 1983, we have proudly served as a beacon for the arts across the Commonwealth. We have hosted artists from all over the world and brought millions of people together. Since launching the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts in 1987, more than 8,500 young high school students have experienced the life changing program, helping foster the future of Kentucky’s creative leadership. Since 1990, we have collaborated with artists and organizations to create spaces where they can share their vision and voice through our ArtsReach program. We have worked tirelessly to ensure arts experiences are available to all, through accessibility services and ticket access programs – removing barriers so everyone can engage in the arts.

This work is driven by our mission – to connect and inspire through the arts. As you will see in this report, Kentucky Performing Arts serves the Commonwealth as an economic driver, a tourism driver, and a force for good on our community.

We look forward to connecting with you soon!
