Miss Whitney Marie Emory, also known as “Whit-Whit, “Auntie” and “Sissy,” was born June 29, 1996, in Carrollton, GA. She was the oldest child of two, born to Cheryl Stephens and Tracey Emory. She departed this world on July 17, 2025.

Whitney had a loving spirit that could lift you up during any circumstance. She could light up any room with her smile and contagious laugh. She was a family woman to many, and a built in Superwoman to most. She graduated from Heard High

Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day,

Whitney spent the last 3 and half years working at Southwire in Carrollton, GA. Numerous of her team members mentioned how much joy they had just being around her. They talked about how she could brighten anyone’s day with a smile, and her shining light. Whitney was selfless, always putting others before herself. She was the abundant giver to her family and everyone she met. There was never an event she didn’t attend. She always showed up for others. She was your “One call, that’s

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Brandon Goss (special friend), his children whom she raised as her own, Bryanna and Nehemiah; her loving parents, Tracey Emory and Cheryl Stephens; grandmother, Linda Hart; five caring siblings, Shantrell Emory (Bruce), Santez Emory (Tara), Erica Emory, Bella Emory, and Olivia Emory; her one and only beautiful niece, Jayla Emory and her 4 special nephews, Amari Emory, Jabari and Jace Gates, and Luka Emory; a host of aunts and uncles, and other relatives and friends.

To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve found that peace at the close of day
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full, I’ve savored much,
Good friends, good times, my loved one’s touch
If my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart, rejoice with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
