Dear Family & Friends:
I want you to know I’ve moved. I received a call from God, the Chief Architect, who informed me that my new house is ready, and I can move immediately. I just didn’t have time to give notice. You all know I have been sending up bricks and timber in my own way, packing up a little at time, getting ready to go, but there were so many things to do. I also had to wait for Him to let me know when he had finished because some of my bricks and timber did not meet His strict building code.
Well, my new house is finished and it’s such a beautiful sight to behold. It’s located in an exclusive estate area and it’s behind beautiful pearly gates, just off a serene celestial shore, of course the streets are paved with gold. There is no sun or moon because Jesus the Lamb, is the light. The water here is crystal clear and the fruit from the trees has healed me. Every day here is Sunday, I’ve been told. I lived in several places before my new house was prepared and none of the previous addresses can compare to my new home. There is peace, joy and happiness here with no pain or cares of the world to bear. No strife or discontent, there’s only sweet serenity everywhere. I want to go exploring around my new home, but I must get fitted for my wings.
Let me give you my new address because I recommend that you make plans to live here:

Oh yes, let me tell you this family and friends, I don’t have a telephone but just call Jesus, if you don’t have His number. He is listed in the good book on every page. Contact Him, call from your heart.
Till we meet again.
We, the family of the late James S. Johnson, wish to express our profound and sincere appreciation for the many expressions of love and support shown to us during this most difficult time. Your prayers, calls, visits, and acts of kindness have brought comfort and strength, helping us to face the inevitable with grace and peace.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the City of Atlanta, the Atlanta Police Department, the Atlanta Fire Department, Mayor Andre Dickens, Chief Darin Schierbaum, and Major Janice Sturdivant for their unwavering support and recognition of James’s service.
A special thank you to Antioch Baptist Church North, Pastor K.L. Alexander, and the entire church staff for your spiritual guidance and compassionate care.
May God bless each and every one of you for your kindness and love.
