Dear Minister Stournara, Thank you for your email received earlier this morning, the contents of which we have noted. However, we are not entirely clear whether any allegation is being made against the EBU or what legal provisions or other entitlement would prohibit the EBU from providing technical transmission support to any Greek journalists wishing to exercise their right to free expression. In order to reply substantively to your communication, - if any such allegations are being made against the EBU in respect of “illegal promotion” - it would be very helpful if you would be kind enough to clarify which measures applied by the EBU may be considered to be breaching legal provisions and if so, more detail on the provisions or laws concerned.
