The Iloilo Science and Technology - Laboratory School commenced the resumption of regular face-to-face classes and activities for the academic year 2022-2023 after more than a year of forced lockdown. As mandated by DepEd Order 34, Series of 2022, Vice President and Department of Education Secretary
Sara Duterte-Carpio ordered that all public and private schools shall hold face-to-face classes starting November 2. This move was supported by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as he mentioned in his first State of The Nation Address (SONA) last July 25, 2022. “I believe it is time for our

During her campaign speech, Chairperson Aplasca pledged to promote unity, address student concerns, and create a supportive atmosphere for all and her dedication to making the school a better place will undoubtedly resonate with their peers and contribute to a more cohesive

The other officers elected were Joeann Nicole Baylon (Vice Chairperson, SINAG), Reign Caleb Hechanova (Secretary, SINAG), Julianne Rivera (Treasurer, SANDIGAN), Rain Marrey Robles (Auditor, SANDIGAN) are all the new back bone of ISAT U Laboratory School Student Council. With the new set of officers, the organization looks forward to having an excellent opportunity to have a significant influence on their fellow students, the teachers, and the overall environment of the school as a whole. Furthermore, as they step into their responsibilities, recognizing their ability to create a dynamic and welcoming learning environment shall prevail to motivates and empowers all students. JT

APILANDO, AGUSTIN MR. AND MS. COE 2023
The College of Education of Iloilo Science and Technology University held its annual pageant last March 31, 2022, which showcased the beauty and talents of the candidates representing each department of the university. Among the contenders, two pairs from the Laboratory School made it to the final round of the competition. The candidates of the Laboratory School were Candidate no. 7, Mr. Ricarido Pabiona, and Ms. Precious Cordova, and Candidate no. 8, Ms. Rose Ann Banhao and Mr. Paul Dexter Apilando. Despite the challenges and hard work that they had to go through, the Laboratory School candidates were able to show their best during the pageant. The pageant was divided into different segments, including the talent portion, the question-andanswer portion, and the evening gown competition. The candidates showcased their singing, dancing, and other unique talents during the talent portion of the pageant. After a tough competition, the judges announced Mr. Paul Dexter Apilando from the Laboratory School as the winner of the Mr. COE 2023 title. Meanwhile, Ms. Jayvielyn Agustin from the Technology Council was crowned as Ms. COE 2023. Ms. Banhao, one of the Laboratory School candidates, expressed her

congratulated the winners and expressed their appreciation to all the candidates who participated in the pageant. The pageant was not just a competition but also a celebration of the university’s diversity and the talents of its students.
