FROM SANJIV'S DESK
President and CEO, Sanjiv Razdan
Dear Franchisees and The Joint Community,
The multi-year, phased strategic plan that we announced at the start of 2025 was designed to help us build a strong foundation that can support our new vision for the future of The Joint. We are continuing to make progress on many of our key initiatives and are preparing to initiate another major component of our The Joint 2.0 strategy: dynamic revenue management.
The first step of dynamic revenue management begins on October 15 when some markets will implement minor price increases on new Wellness Plan purchases and new Package purchases. Patient communication is underway and the CSC has prepared talking points and an FAQ to help franchisees and clinic teams navigate any conversations with patients.

Dynamic revenue management is an ongoing process that we will continue to implement as pricing is one of the key contributors to our forward momentum. This approach is designed to help offset clinic level inflation via pricing while minimizing any impact to our active patient base by ensuring that The Joint remains an affordable and accessible option to current and prospective patients.
Earlier this month, we concluded our Back to Wellness Sale. It was a strong showing from the system, with nearly 22,000 lapsed patients returning to chiropractic care. Thank you for your outstanding effort! Complete results can be found on page 8

I would also like to extend my appreciation to the franchisees that took the time to complete the Franchise Business Review satisfaction survey. It is incredibly important that we continue hearing from our franchisees and clinic teams. We believe we are making progress, and are always striving to improve the level of engagement and support. We are here to listen and you have my commitment that we will respond to your feedback.
Finally, the Regional Developers, members of the Executive Leadership Team and other senior leadership from the CSC enjoyed a productive few days of meeting together in Houston to continue setting the pace for The Joint’s future. We also had the opportunity to visit some inspiring doctors and Wellness Coordinators in the clinics. Visiting our clinics remains one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my role.
The chance to connect directly with our teams offers valuable insights on how we can optimize our processes to better serve our patients and keep them at the heart of everything we do.
Together we serve,

Sanjiv
Razdan

Long Time Patient Opens First Clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado
Eric Brunner began experiencing serious back pain after a car accident when he was just 15 years old. The pain progressed throughout the years, exacerbated by his active law enforcement career. He began visiting The Joint’s clinic locations in Denver and was a patient for 14 years.
When he moved to Grand Junction, located about four hours west of Denver, Eric decided to bring The Joint’s ease, affordability and convenience to the town. On August 7, he opened Grand Junction’s first The Joint Chiropractic clinic.

New Fall Initiatives Designed to Fuel Growth and Momentum
There are two new initiatives currently underway: the start of The Joint’s new dynamic revenue management strategy and the Align One Plan limited time offer.
Price Increases Take Effect in Some Markets on October 15
Some markets will begin a $2 price increase on all new Wellness Plan purchases and a 4 percent increase on new Package purchases on October 15.
Download and review the October 2025 Price Increase Implementation Guide
Communication to current Package holders began on September 15 to inform them of the upcoming price increase and encourage them to purchase another package before the increase goes into effect. Please review pages 5-7 of the implementation guide for additional information and talking points to help navigate any patient conversations.
Align One Limited Time Offer Began on September 15
The Joint introduced the Align One Plan limited time offer to re-engage former Wellness Plan members. The Align One Plan combines key features of the Flex Plan and the Wellness Plan to provide qualifying patients with a flexible option to return to routine chiropractic care.
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: October 15, 2025
• Who is eligible for this limited time offer?: Walk-In patients who canceled their Wellness Plan on or after August 1, 2024 only.
To learn more about the Align One Plan limited time offer, download and review the implementation guide
Together, these two initiatives will position our system for continued growth and long-term success and strengthen clinic economics while also ensuring that patients continue to receive the affordable chiropractic care that is at the heart of our mission.

Aligning with Autumn Social Media Content Ideas for October
October is packed with spook-tacular reasons to celebrate and share meaningful content. From The Joint’s 26th anniversary to National Chiropractic Health Month and, of course, Halloween, it’s the perfect chance to highlight your clinic’s role in supporting wellness at every age and stage of life. With fun, educational, and community-focused posts, your team can keep social media fresh, engaging, and on-brand all month long.
Key Dates and Lifestyle Themes
• National Chiropractic Health Month: “Chiro in 3 Words” Challenge Celebrate National Chiropractic Health Month with a quick, high-energy reel featuring DCs and team members each sharing one word that describes chiropractic care—like “Relief,” “Mobility,” “Energy,” or “Balance.” Stitch the clips together with upbeat audio, keep each 1–2 seconds long, and add text overlays for extra impact.
• The Joint Chiropractic’s 26th Anniversary: “26 Adjustments in 26 Seconds” Celebrate The Joint’s 26th anniversary with a high-energy reel featuring 26 moments in just 26 seconds. Repurpose clips you’ve already captured over the years of adjustments, high-fives, and patient smiles, and stitch them together for a fresh, fast-paced montage. Each clip represents one year since 1999, making it both nostalgic and celebratory while showcasing the impact ractic care over time.
• National Children’s Health Month: Film a short video or share a photo of a child receiving a gentle adjustment at your clinic (with parent consent and a signed Photo/Video Release form).
• October 6 – National Child Health Day: Create an educational reel where a DC addresses common parent questions about chiropractic care for children (e.g., “Is chiropractic safe for kids?” “What are the benefits?” “How often should my child get adjusted?”). Keep answers short (5–7 seconds each) for easy engagement.
• October 16 – World Spine Day: “3 Stretches for a Happy Spine” Create a short, engaging reel featuring a DC demonstrating three simple, spine-friendly stretches: cat-cow, seated spinal twist, and standing side stretch. Keep each stretch clip to 4–5 seconds with overlay text naming the movement and its benefit (e.g., “Cat-Cow: Improves flexibility,” “Seated Twist: Relieves tension,” “Standing Side Stretch: Promotes mobility”).

Dr. Steve Knauf, D.C., Vice President of Chiropractic and Compliance, represented The Joint at several leadership events throughout the conference. Training Development
Set Up for Success at The Front Desk Tips for WCs to Manage Change
As a Wellness Coordinator, you balance many demands, from patient interactions and supporting the flow of the clinic, to staying up-to-date with pricing, new promotions, and limited time offers.
With so many exciting updates rolling out in the clinics, here are four tips to help WCs stay focused, confident, and ready to manage change while maintaining your day-to-day responsibilities.

1
2
Education: Know What’s New
• Stay up to date with system communications, including The Alignment and BackBone. Review implementation guides thoroughly any time something new is rolled out.
• Check in with managers or other team members during daily huddles to clarify questions and ensure you have the most up-to-date information.
Prioritization: Focus Where it Counts
• Work with your team to identify the topics or scenarios you anticipate will come up most often with patients and focus on learning those first.
• Work with your manager to dedicate time to study new materials and practice changes, such as role-playing scenarios, so you feel confident applying new skills during patient interactions.
Organization: Keep Resources Close
3
4
• Don’t stress about memorizing everything all at once. Use your resources while you are still learning. It’s better to take time to look something up than give a patient inaccurate information.
• Create a system for printed quick reference materials, such as folders, binders with tabs, or small cheat sheets behind the desk, so you have what you need accessible at your fingertips.
Communication: Anticipate and Answer with Confidence
• Review the FAQs and scripting in implementation guides to anticipate patient questions and prepare clear, confident responses.
• Pause to fully understand the patient’s question before responding. Listen for cues that clarify what they’re asking, so you can provide the most accurate and helpful information.

The Joint recommends upgrading any in-clinic computers currently operating on Windows 10 to Windows 11 before Microsoft support for Windows 10 ends on October 14, 2025.

There are no immediate implications as a result of this change, however it is important to note that any in-clinic computers operating on Windows 10 will not receive security updates or technical support from Microsoft after October 14.
