FROM SANJIV'S DESK

Dear Franchisees and The Joint Community,

In this season of Thanksgiving, I would like to take a moment to pause, reflect, and express my gratitude to each of you for making our mission possible every day.

To our franchisees, clinic teams, RD partners and teams and CSC and Field Teams – thank you for your dedication and passion for our mission and strengthening our brand. Whether you are a Wellness Coordinator or doctor serving patients within the clinics or provide support to the system behind the scenes, your collective effort allows us to deliver on our promise of accessible, patient-centered chiropractic care.

Every year, we serve more patients than ever before and help millions of people to find relief from pain. I am incredibly excited about the future of The Joint and remain committed to executing the initiatives that will drive sales and clinic profitability. Our pricing pilots are underway in select markets, and we recently announced an extension of Align One so that we may continue assessing it as a replacement to the Flex Plan. With these and other important strategies in place, we are moving forward with the intention to reignite growth within our system.

We are entering our most important promotional period of the year with the start of our Back Friday Sale and the upcoming End of Year Wellness Sale. These campaigns play a vital role in helping us finish the year strong and set the foundation for momentum into the new year. The Clinic Support Center has provided resource materials and training guides to support clinic teams with staying engaged and executing with consistency. Please turn to page 7 for more information.

Thank you again for everything you do and for the energy you bring to our mission. Let’s remain aligned on a unified path to success and continue working with purpose, partnership and a shared commitment to helping more people experience the benefits of chiropractic care.

Wishing you and your families a joyous and meaningful Thanksgiving season.

Together we serve,

WC Profile: Kris Cook

The Joint Chiropractic – Murray Hill (OR)

Kris Cook wanted to work at The Joint to be part of a mission-driven organization that closely aligns with her personal and professional values. Nearly seven years later, she has played an important role in the re-opening of the Murray Hill clinic by creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient.

Kris builds genuine connections with all patients from the moment they walk through the door, setting the tone for compassionate, patient-centered care. This dedication to fostering trust and comfort has helped increase Murray Hill’s active members to over 300 patients in a few short months.

Prior to The Joint, Kris owned a game shop, combining her love for community and all things nerdy. She loves sloths, even collecting sloth-themed items, and never turns down a good dessert, especially pastries!

Turning Interest Into Action Through Lead Nurturing

80%

of leads never convert without consistent follow-up within 24 hours.

Every day, people express interest in your clinic, creating opportunities for your business to grow. The difference between gaining a lead and converting the lead into a loyal patient, however, often comes down to what your clinic does next.

Why Clinic-Level Lead Nurturing Matters

The CSC deploys ongoing automated email communications to nurture leads who have claimed the $29 New Patient offer but haven’t yet visited your clinic. These automations keep The Joint top of mind and encourage consumers to take the next step toward care. However, it’s your clinic’s outreach that turns initial interest into their first visit.

75%

of patients are more likely to choose a doctor who communicates personally and promptly.

Timely outreach leads to action. Following up doesn’t just remind patients about the $29 New Patient offer; it’s the catalyst that gets them to take the next step in their care. Each call, text, or voicemail reinforces that your clinic is there and ready to help.

How To Convert Leads Into First-Time Visits

After your clinic receives a lead, try one or more of the best practices outlined below:

• Call as soon as possible: Contact every new lead within an hour. This increases the chance they’ll come in while their interest is still high.

• Leave a voicemail if there's no answer: Use the scripts in the WC Manual as a guide, but customize your message to match your communication style. Be sure to include any key clinic details, such as hours or location.

• Follow up with a text message: If the lead has opted in to receive SMS text messages, send a short, friendly message if they don’t answer your initial call. People are more likely to respond to a text than answer an unknown phone number. Text messages can only be sent to leads who have opted in to receive marketing and promotional messages. Confirm opt-in status by reviewing their communication preferences in Carbon.

• Offer clear next steps: End each conversation with an invitation to visit. Confirm their preferred day or time and offer to send directions or parking information.

• Stay consistent: Reach out more than once. Attempt to make contact the same day, again the next day, and once more later in the week if you haven’t been able to speak with them.

Final Takeaway

The automated emails sent by the CSC are designed to nurture your leads, but it’s your clinic’s next move that gets people in the door. Together, they create a connected experience that turns interest into action. Download the Marketing Automation Guide to reacquaint yourself with the communications already being sent on your behalf and ensure your in-clinic efforts work seamlessly alongside them.
