BACK TO WELLNESS SALE
FROM SANJIV'S DESK
President and CEO, Sanjiv Razdan
Dear Franchisees and The Joint Community,
At the heart of our efforts to build a strong foundation for the future of The Joint is our patients. Focusing on attracting patients, helping them stay committed to their care and ensuring that we deliver an exceptional experience, while they feel they are receiving fair value in return for the high-quality care our doctors provide, is essential to The Joint 2.0 strategy
In support of these priorities, we launched two important initiatives in July: Wellness Plan Kickstart Pricing and the official introduction of The Joint’s mobile app
Our mission is based on convenience and accessibility and what better way to provide that to our patients than through our mobile app and the flexibility to find a Wellness Plan that meets their treatment needs. Just as importantly, these new initiatives empower our doctors and Wellness Coordinators in continuing to deliver the care that keeps patients coming back.

The potential of these programs to drive patient retention is considerable. Robust training materials have been developed and distributed to support the implementation of both programs, and early adopters of Wellness Plan Kickstart Pricing and the mobile app are already seeing meaningful results . We shared some of those initial findings during last week’s Monthly Pulse webinar and you can read more about them on pages 6 and 11 Congratulations to those top performing clinic teams and operators!
Success, however, depends on bringing these programs to life with intention at the clinic level. These programs were developed and accelerated with your feedback and priorities in mind, and I strongly encourage all franchisees to work closely with their clinic teams to fully embrace and activate these initiatives.
I also want to recognize the outstanding execution of our recent “Buy 5, Get 1” Wellness Sale. Thanks to your focus and dedication, over 8,600 patients recommitted to their care routines. Not only did the promotion surpass all 2025 goals, but it also outperformed last year’s results. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement! You can find the full results and a list of our top 10 performers on page 9
Next week, we will host our first Leadership Lounge interactive webinar series. On July 31, I will host franchisees Dan and Dorit Kjaergaard in a discussion about driving clinic sales . This is the chance for franchisees and the leaders within their organization to hear directly from their high-performing colleagues and receive actionable strategies and tools that can be immediately implemented. Please plan to join us for an inspiring conversation, and I’d like to thank Dan and Dorit for generously sharing their best practices and insights for the betterment of the entire system. Please click here to register
Elevating the patient experience is a shared responsibility. While the Corporate Support Center provides the tools, resources and programs, it’s up to franchisees to put these tools and programs into action where it really counts - with patients. Together, this collaboration is essential to the success of the entire system.
Thank you all for your continued commitment, focus and passion.
Together we serve,

Sanjiv Razdan
"Our mission is based on convenience and accessibility and what better way to provide that to our patients than through our mobile app and the flexibility to find a Wellness Plan that meets their treatment needs. "

Mobile App Sees Steady Growth with Continued Opportunity for Awareness
On July 1, The Joint’s mobile app officially launched nationwide and patients were informed about the new app through email newsletters, in-clinic displays and other marketing tactics.
Since then, 39,000 patients have enrolled in the app, including 7 percent of our active plan members! Some clinics have enrolled over 50 percent of their active plan members, and these clinics have also had days where over 50 percent of their visits were mobile check ins.
The mobile app is designed to make it more convenient than ever before for patients to interact with The Joint by showing them if their favorite
doctor is in clinic and allowing them to check in via their mobile device. It also gives us the opportunity to create a direct path of communication between The Joint and the patient.
We are continuing to iterate and explore new features and enhancements for the next phase of the mobile app. Engaging existing patients with the app, however, remains a primary objective for the system.
The clinics and franchisees listed below are actively promoting the app with their patients and are excellent resources for any teams that are looking for best practices for mobile app success.

Using the same terminology helps new team members onboard more smoothly and ensures alignment across departments and clinics.

Helps Patients Stay Committed to Chiropractic Care
The “Buy 5, Get 1” Wellness Sale returned for its third year and offered current members a free month of chiropractic care with the advanced purchase of a five-month Wellness Plan. Thank you to our Wellness Coordinators, doctors, franchisees and partners across the system for executing a successful promotion!
• The system exceeded overall sales goals by 4.31% with 8,671 total purchases. This marked a 21.87% increase over 2024 performance!
• Total revenue generated was $3,292,612, which exceeded our revenue goal by 3.64% and marked a 23.74% increase over last year.
• 41.17% of clinics reached or exceeded their revenue goal!
• Franchised clinics within BSC territories finished at 103% over goal.
• Franchised clinics within RD territories concluded the promotion at 100% of goal. Congratulations to the Central North Florida region (Shane Weber, Jeff McGinty and Barry Goodman) which led all RD territories in sales!
Targeted Marketing Campaign Drives Additional Engagement
The CSC launched an integrated marketing campaign across multiple advertising channels to effectively reach eligible patients. Here are some highlights and key metrics:
• Targeted recipients received 3 custom text messages which included a link to the “Buy 5, Get 1” Wellness Sale landing page. SMS drove more than 10,700 website sessions with a 39.29% engagement rate
• A total of 3 custom emails were distributed to eligible patients, and the email campaign averaged a 17.82% open rate which aligns with healthcare industry benchmarks. Emails sent earlier in the promotion time period drove the strongest engagement, reinforcing the importance of leading with high-impact communication at the start of the campaign.
• For the first time ever, we leveraged The Joint’s new mobile app by testing push notifications and in-app messaging. These tactics successfully drove more than 200 website sessions and a 5.03% click-through rate. This is above-average engagement for Retail industry benchmarks (2.97% CTR) and Health & Fitness benchmarks (1.61% CTR).
Patient-focused marketing can support strong clinic performance by focusing on relevance and reaching the right audience at the right times.
• Successful Promotions eLearning Debuts

The “Buy 5, Get 1” Wellness Sale also introduced a new training approach for promotions with the release of the “Successful Promotions” elearning. Instead of a promotion-specific course, “Successful Promotions” teaches Wellness Coordinators and clinic staff how to use the promotion guide to successfully execute all of The Joint’s promotional campaigns.
• Through July 1, there have been 2,038 enrollments and 1,252 completions.
• Of the total enrollments, 733 self-enrolled in the course.
“Successful Promotions” will remain active in The Learning Center for users to access any time, especially to review prior to the start of a new promotion.

DC Profile: Dr. Rubina Tahir Selected as TEDxMSU Event Speaker
Clinic Director at The Joint Chiropractic –North Ann Arbor (MI)

Dr. Rubina Tahir, D.C. came to The Joint in March 2022 after 16 years as the owner of a private chiropractic practice. In January, she was promoted to clinic director and serves as PC for The Joint Chiropractic –North Ann Arbor (MI).
In March, Dr. Tahir was one of just 10 speakers chosen from hundreds of applicants to give a talk at the annual TEDxMSU conference event. Her talk - “Fear is loud, your inner voice is louder” – focused on the healing power of self-talk.

TEDxMSU was curated by students from Michigan State University (MSU) and the audience was comprised of MSU students and faculty, individuals from the surrounding community of Lansing and leaders from throughout the state of Michigan.
In her application, Dr. Tahir posed the question, “How would your life be different if, when overwhelmed by fear, you think like you are talking to an imaginary friend?” She invited attendees to create a dialogue with their own imaginary friend to navigate honesty, options and decisions.
In her extensive two decades of chiropractic experience, Dr. Tahir often sees patients develop joint and muscle pain due to their fear response. Chiropractic adjustments serve as one piece of the healing puzzle. When combined with self-talk, however, the fear response can be eliminated once and for all, keeping the body in a healthy zone.
“Thinking like you’re talking to an imaginary friend is like coming home to the place where your mind-body connection thrives,” she says. “Imaginary friends can help people face their fears by providing a safe space to express difficult emotions, practice social skills, process challenging situations and leap into positive action.
Dr. Tahir’s personal journey with her own cancer diagnosis also shaped her discussion topic. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in February during her annual screening mammogram, just one month before delivering her presentation.
“A mammogram and self-talk saved my life,” says Dr. Tahir. “Self-talk is a tool that we all need in our toolbox. You can either fret about your fears, try to cover them up, or accept them as assets that help you take action.”
Dr. Tahir’s insights on healthy living have been featured by several major news outlets and she has appeared on podcasts and at workshops and other speaking engagements. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Wellness Plan Kickstart Pricing is Winning with Early Adopters

The Joint introduced Wellness Plan Kickstart Pricing on July 1 and results through the first two weeks of this initiative show a strong impact that is in line with results from our pilot programs.
• Through July 14, 23 percent of total Wellness Plans sold systemwide have included a Kickstart option.
Thank you to the franchisees and clinic teams who are engaging patients into this new initiative and driving results!
If your clinic(s) have not begun introducing Wellness Plan Kickstart Pricing to your patients, we encourage you to begin implementing this new program. Chiropractic Connections: Building the Brand Across the Country
The Joint was a proud partner and exhibitor at Texas Chiropractic College’s Annual Convention at the school’s campus in Pasadena, Texas. During the event, we interacted with students and chiropractic professionals gaining CE hours.
The main message at our booth focused on career opportunities at The Joint. We shared that working at The Joint offers new chiropractors a tremendous amount of experience by treating many patients on a daily basis. In addition, doctors have the opportunity to grow their chiropractic knowledge by working side-by-side with experienced doctors who will mentor them.
For many years, the chiropractic industry did not look favorably on The Joint’s model. However, The Joint is now viewed as an important employer and a way to introduce and provide access to chiropractic care to a wide spectrum of patients.
If you are interested in participating in an upcoming event, please contact careers@thejoint.com. While participation is on a first come, first serve basis, all leads will be shared after each event.
