Niki: Fable & Mane was created to bring ancient Indian beauty secrets to the modern world, as an homage to our grandparents and our roots. When we were young, our grandma would visit with her handcrafted blend of Ayurvedic plant oils and give us a champi massage, focusing on the crown chakra to alleviate stress and tension from the roots. While she massaged, she told us fantastic fables about India’s rich plant and animal kingdom. The combination of the fables and the hair oiling massage eased our minds so perfectly and it was something we always looked forward to, and how we came up with the brand name ‘Fable & Mane’ After suffering from our own hair loss issues during a stressful period as adults, we went back to our childhood hair rituals and Indian roots to find a holistic way to strengthen and nourish our scalp and hair

Niki: I’m on a journey to seek my own truth Spirituality is a big part of my life; it’s my calling to become aware, awakened and a test as a human to be more conscious. It’s about being present, witnessing my thoughts, detaching from my identity and celebrating life The ordinary moments have become extraordinary and it’s now a way of life. I’ve been meditating and reading ancient scriptures and books by seekers of truth, like Osho and Ashtavakra Gita, and my life has transformed.

Akash: Spirituality has been deep-rooted in me since childhood It’s always been innately there - growing up, we’d listen to motivational speaking or meditation in the car instead of the radio, as a family we went to meditation on Sundays, and my grandpa was a healer who would travel to different countries and heal people, and he was also best friends with Osho, so it’s ingrained in me. However now I actually enjoy embracing my spirituality. As life has gotten more stressful and I’m more self aware, it’s no longer a chore but a way of life and a conscious thought in everything I do.
