INFINITI of Kansas City
INFINITI QX50
Dear Disney fans and Broadway lovers,
Welcome to Starlight and Disney’s The Little Mermaid! Are you ready to ignite the magic of theatre for a new generation?
In this show, we embark on a magical journey under the sea, where mermaids sing, sea creatures dance, and dreams take flight. Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a timeless tale of love, family, courage, and the pursuit of one’s dreams.
Inspired by the classic fairy tale and brought to life with dazzling costumes, mesmerizing choreography, and unforgettable music, Disney’s The Little Mermaid has captivated audiences of all ages since the movie was released in the early 90’s. I remember watching this movie as a girl and identifying with the freespirited Ariel’s journey to love and independence. Today, as a parent of a teenager, I relate more to King Triton’s story of loving and letting go. Timeless stories like these have the power to reach us in new ways in different chapters of our lives, and discovering those new connections to the stories is part of the magic!
At Starlight, we are committed to connecting our community through live arts experiences that entertain, inspire, and engage. With its message of love, acceptance, and the power of self-discovery, Disney’s The Little Mermaid reminds us of the importance of staying true to ourselves and following our hearts, no matter where they may lead.
As you settle into your seats, let your imagination soar and your spirits lift. If you are here tonight with a young person, watch for the joy of discovery on their face as they experience the gift of live theatre.
Your Starlight experience is created by not only extraordinary artists and crew members but also by the people who ensure you park safely, find your seats, and enjoy a food or beverage item of your choice. On behalf of everyone who is a part of your Starlight experience tonight, thank you for choosing to support live theatre and joining us. Your support makes this possible, and for that, we are truly grateful.
Now, prepare to go under the sea and enjoy the show!

PRESENTED BY
Starlight broke ground on the Performances for Young Audiences series this spring with The Boy Who Cried Wolf and GRIMMZ Fairy Tales. Through highly visual and physical storytelling, these productions are written specifically to appeal to young imaginations.
In addition to public performances, 2,500 elementary students enjoyed the wonder of live theatre – in an environment tailored just for them – at no cost to school partners.
“For many students, this was their first live performance. They were highly engaged, and their eyes and ears were with the actors the entire time!”
-Teacher, Westridge Elementary

Parents trust me to care for their most precious gift I don’t take that lightly.”
gift. don’t take that lightly.”
I like to say that I don’t just care for newborn babies, I care for the understandably worried parents who can’t take their babies home just yet. I always let parents know their precious little gift is in the best possible place, then look forward to the joy on their faces when their babies meet new milestones. It’s the same joy I feel in helping make that day possible.
