Does Biggar still need a Community Bus? The local Sports Association have called an emergency meeting for the evening of November 15 to discuss the present situation, as well as the future of community busing in Biggar. The present bus has been problematic to say the least. Before any fingers are pointed, the entire committee points out that the current vehicle was the best choice available at the
time of purchase. Community usage has gone down in recent years, and the situation necessitates a serious look at the future. Organizations that use the bus are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting which will be held in the Biggar New Horizons board room at 7 p.m. on November 15.
