After having to be cancelled twice, due to covid restrictions, the classic rock musical Little Shop Of Horrors will finally be performed at the Landmark this April. In the show, produced by local theatre company Small Pond, the meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” - after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it - blood! Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination. Director Lee Baxendale said: “This is a great show and it is a privilege to direct, and work alongside, so many talented performers. This promises to be something really special.” Small Pond was last seen at the Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe with their hit production of Elf in December. Tickets for Little Shop of Horrors are now available from the Landmark and Queens Theatre box offices on 01271 316523 or online at www.landmarkIlfracombe.com.
