Hello & Welcome to the November Edition of The Hub Capricorn Coast.
October saw a flurry of activity for us and we've had to take a step back to take a deep breath and re-group!
The Pineapple Festival Parade was our first public event and we entered a float showcasing some of the business who continually support The Hub Capricorn Coast and our mission of keeping everyone connected in the body, mind & soul world.
Thank you to Di Sully, Sissy Mylrea and Peter Nebauer for your help decorating the float and to Gavin Schick for the loan of your truck for the day.
Check out the photos of our float later on in this edition.
Wellness at the Coast was a great day and opportunity for us to meet some of our local readers and to spread the word with providers in the community about the work that we are doing and our mission to bring forth connection and community in a positive manner. Thank you to the Livingstone Shire Council Events Team for organising a brilliant event.
Sunday 16th October saw our first Walk for Wellbeing. The day was a huge success with more than 120 participants walking from Farnborough to Kemp Hill in support of Queensland Mental Health Week. You can read more about the day and check out the pictures in the coming pages.
November sees us beginning preparations for our December Christmas Edition. We hope to bring to you a showcase of local businesses and their offerings so that we can continue to support local and help small business to thrive in the community.
This month will also see us planning for the year coming in 2023. If you have any ideas for events or topics you would like to see raised in the magazine, please feel free to email us and we'll take on board your suggestions.
Until next month, we hope November is a brilliant month for you and look forward to connecting with you on social media throughout the month!
