Sunday 16th October will see The Hub Capricorn Coast's very first Walk for Wellbeing kicking off at 7am at Farnborough Beach. Currently there are over 100 participants already registered to walk from Farnborough to Kemp Hill with a rest pause at Ross Creek and morning tea at Lammermoor Beach.

The event, being run during Queensland Mental Health Week aims to bring community together to create awareness around healthy habits, as well as a sense of belonging and connection to the community and the beautiful place we live in. The breaks have been strategically placed to allow participants time to enjoy the scenery along the way, as it's not always something we have time to do.

The event will conclude at Kemp Hill with a barbecue cooked by the Mr Perfect Men's Mental Health Group. Registrations are still open for anyone wanting to join in and participate.

The planning and organising for the event began in July and it would not be possible without the following supporters and sponsors of the event:

Queensland Fire & Rescue

Queensland Fire & Rescue Service, Emu Park Meats, Bell Park Bakery, Positive Energy & Holistic Wellness, Coastal Picnics, Gather 4703, Hygge, Mr Perfect, Darlene Neill-Ballantine, Lisa Fletcher, Diane Sully, Joselyn Schick, Katie Mitchell & Peter Nebauer. And of course all of our participants who have registered to join us.

If you see a see of blue shirts on the path betweenFarnborough & Kemp Hill on Sunday 16th, be sureto give us a wave or a beep!
