The Sydney Hills Youth Ambassador Program, proudly run by The Hills Shire Council, empowers young leaders in The Hills to represent their peers and amplify youth voices over a 12-month term. Each year, ambassadors are given the opportunity to design and deliver a project that champions young people and addresses their needs and interests in the local community.
This Youth Passport is an initiative of our current Sydney Hills Youth Ambassador Rihanna Soundranayagam with the support of Council, the Hills Youth Army and fellow ambassador Advika Kapoor.
The Hills Youth Army is Council’s youth volunteer group made up of young people, aged 15 - 24 years, interested in volunteering, participating in their local community and forming connections with their peers and the broader community.
To get involved, please complete the volunteer application form located on Council’s website.

THE BASICS
The Hills Youth Passport has been designed by young people for young people, and is all about discovering the places, programs, and people that make our Hills community unique. Throughout the passport, there are a number of quests you can participate in all across The Hills. The best part –you can choose your own adventure and go at your own pace!
Each quest you complete is worth 1 point. Accumulating more points can help you reach different prize tiers and go in the running to win some amazing prizes.
Each quest is unique, so be sure to read any instructions carefully before you start. To find out information on each quest, click on their titles to learn more.
QUEST EXAMPLE
To prove you completed each quest, you will need to upload a photo of its completion – so make sure you keep your device nearby. To submit your photo, simply click on the camera icon next to each quest, fill out the form and click submit!
PRIZE TIERS PRIZE TIERS
Prizes can be won by completing quests. The more quests you complete, the higher the prize tier you qualify for and the better the prize!
Submissions for a prize must be validated by a photo submission. Each quest requires its own submission.
At the completion of the program, all submissions will be reviewed and if you’ve completed enough quests, you’ll go in the running to win awesome prizes like a pair of AirPods or a JBL speaker!
