Tribute to Tony Hill

It is with great sadness that we have to report that Hills shareholder and main board director Tony Hill passed away shortly after Christmas following a very brave battle against cancer. This marked the end of an era as he was the last one remaining of the six third generation brothers and cousins who worked for the family company. Read a tribute to Tony on pages 4 and 5.

Back in Swindon!

There are many great stories in this issue of intouch but the cover story of our new concrete plant stands out as it represents our first operating site in Swindon since the 1980s!

Having overcome a number of challenges which delayed the opening of the site, it is already exceeding expectations and will hopefully be an important cog in the wheel for many years to come.

The Coronation

Coronations don’t come around very often, so I would like to wish you all a very happy and memorable weekend for when King Charles III is crowned in May.
