Transformation at Langford Lakes
Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s expansion at the Brockbank nature centre has meant it now includes private function rooms, a new art gallery space and a refurbished café, thanks in part to generous support from The Hills Group.


The upgraded facilities provide year-round viewing points of the surrounding wetlands and the abundance of wildlife living there. Set in the picturesque Wylye valley nine miles west of Salisbury, Langford Lakes is one of the UK’s best examples of long-term gravel workings that have successfully made the transition to become a stunning nature reserve. The Brockbank nature centre was officially reopened by Alan Pardoe and Mike Hill of The Hills Group, at a recent ceremony attended by Lord Talbot, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Trustees and a small group of the Trust’s major stakeholders.
