Quality drive-through

Black concrete was recently supplied from Quarry Products’ Woodsford ready mixed concrete plant to a McDonald’s restaurant franchise in Weymouth, Dorset.

The concrete was tested multiple times before the contract was confirmed to ensure the black colour was consistent with the fast food brand’s requirements. Terry Newsham, Commercial Business Manager, Quarry Products, said: “From the very start of this contract, many months before ground was broken on site, the contractor was very specific about their requirements, down to providing us with the exact quantities of pigment required and the stage the pigment should be added. Their knowledge proved to be invaluable.
