Oxbridge Offers for Ambitious A-Level Students

he School was delighted to hear that three sixth formers have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge universities. Viola Han-Smith (13Sh) has an offer to read
Classics at Oxford University; Chandan Dhiman (13Ho), for Human, Social and Political Science at Cambridge University; Esha Marwaha (13Ke), an offer for Geography at
Cambridge University. Headmaster Mr Pattar said “they fully deserve this opportunity for their exceptional all round commitment, both to study and to school life”. The girls themselves also give credit to the support that they have received from teachers, their families and their primary schools. Chandan and Viola attended Hounslow Heath Junior School. Esha attended Ashton House.

ednesday afternoon saw Year 11, as well as their teachers and parents gather together in the main hall to celebrate their achievements since arriving at the school in 2010. Students were delighted to welcome Bonita Norris as their guest of honour. Bonita was the youngest British female to climb Everest, and spoke to students about hard work and perseverance. Head of Year Miss Legg told her year group that she was “confident that with your determination, motivation to succeed and positive attitude we will be breaking the school records”.
