Guaranteedirishhouse.ie offer a free resource to aid construction sector

Guaranteed Irish recently held its first Construction Forum of 2021 virtually. The forum entitled, GuaranteedIrishHouse.ie, #AllTogetherBetter, was for Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Developers, Interior Designers, and the Construction Industry. The panel discussion was hosted by CEO of Guaranteed Irish, Brid O’Connell who was joined by an expert line-up of industry leading speakers including Paddy Kelly, Managing Director of Etex Ireland and Chairman of Guaranteed Irish, Alan Donohoe, Head of Sales Kilsaran International and Fergal Murphy, Manager at Kingspan Insulation Ireland. The panel discussed the benefits of participating in the Guaranteed Irish House initiative, the onestop-shop for Construction, Retrofitting and Interior Design goods, products, and services produced in Ireland. The new initiative by Guaranteed Irish offers architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and interior designers a listing of locally produced building materials and home furnishings for both private and commercial builds with the aim of supporting Irish enterprises, sustaining jobs and reducing the Irish constructions’ sector carbon footprint. The online listing www. guaranteedirishhouse.ie includes all the elements of the supply chain required for a building, from raw materials to final furnishings, that can be sourced locally. This initiative is supported by Guaranteed Irish construction members, the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI), Engineers Ireland, Construction Industry Federation (CIF) & more. The listing is open to all Guaranteed Irish members that manufacturer and supply products and services that are used in the build, retrofit and design of private and commercial projects in Ireland, at no additional expense to the member. Along with QUAL-PEX PLUS+, Pipelife Ireland’s product portfolio also includes, pipe, fittings, underfloor Heating, heat pumps and other associated Plumbing & Heating products. The role’s entail presenting Pipelife Irelands product range to Plumbers, Merchants, Specifiers, Architects and Consultants, as well as supporting the commercial sales team in a technical capacity. The candidate will preferably have sales experience in the area of plastic pipe & heating systems for plumbing & heating applications, and must have experience of sales into the construction sector. An in-depth knowledge of plumbing & heating technologies, standards and work practices is essential. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers at all levels is essential as sales calls will vary from building site calls to merchants, consulting engineers and specifiers. The candidate must demonstrate an outgoing personality, be self-motivating and be eager to learn. The position is very much target driven with generous basic salary.
