Cait Salanson Owner of The Little Kitchen CompanyA DAY AT the opera
The park opens at 3pm and we encourage you to make the most of this time before the performance to immerse yourself fully in the idyllic atmosphere of The Grange.

To begin your evening, why not enjoy drinks and canapés at The Portico Bar with its stunning lake views. If you have a sweeter tooth, perhaps a visit to The Winchester Hospice Tea Pavilion, with its selection of hot drinks and cake will be your first port of call.
Inside The House, give yourself time to browse The Festival Shop and the carefully curated Art@TheGrange exhibition, before the sound of bells beckons you to take your seat in our award-winning opera house.

During the 100-minute interval you will be able to enjoy your pre-booked dining and drinks. For Dinner in The House, head into the faded grandeur of the historic mansion and savour a three-course menu bursting with the best local, seasonal produce.
If you prefer to dine al fresco, choose Supper in The Park, a sumptuous picnic supper waiting for you in your marquee or pavilion. Alternatively, bring your own picnic and book seating in one of our private pavilions or the two marquees. We can also provide you with cutlery, crockery and glassware.
After the performance, you are welcome to continue enjoying our beautiful surroundings. The Festival Shop will be open for you to make or collect any purchases. The park is open until 11pm.

THE HOUSE

WINE & ENGLISH SPARKLING

1
The Grange CLASSIC NV
Bright golden straw in colour, from which a fine stream of bubbles is steadily liberated. Perfectly ripe orchard fruit and citrus peel integrate with buttered pastry and springlike florals to create a beautifully deep and generous aroma. Rich and luxurious in the mouth yet poised and supported by a life-affirming saline acidity, derived from its chalky roots.
2 The Grange PINK NV

Soft and restrained in colour with abundant bright summer berries and flowers on the nose that characterise the Pinot fruit grown in Burges Field. Delicately lifted by a soft and pleasing mousse, the palate provides crunchy red apples and redcurrants with a crisp and lengthy finish. A perfect reminder of the long summer of 2018 on which the wine is based.
